Pleased with our experience We purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester. I initially made inquiries online. Liberty Subaru did not bombard us with calls and we're not pushy over the phon We purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester. I initially made inquiries online. Liberty Subaru did not bombard us with calls and we're not pushy over the phone. When we came to the dealership the staff was friendly and helpful and not pushy. We negotiated the price and feel we got a good deal. It was a relatively reasonable negotiating process.... We didn't feel like they were playing us or trying to rip us off. All in all we were there for about an hour. We love our new car! More

I was introduced to Liberty when my more local Subaru dealer could not resolve a problem I was having with my 1988 hatchback. To this day, I look to Bob and his guys to diagnose and treat my automotive "patients." More

FIRST SUBARU EVER I have been buying new cars for many years too many for me to say but they have only been Nissan or Toyota. I just brought my first Subaru Cross trek and I have to say I am a very satisfied customer. I met with Mr. Alex Welch in the morning and by the afternoon I was driving away with my new car. I enjoyed my time with Mr. Welch he let me test drive the vehicle and he explained everything that I asked and some that I didn't ask. After last winter, I finally decided to give up my Town Car for an all wheel drive car. After doing much research (Consumer Reports, Car & Driver, etc.), I was amazed at the accolades which the Subaru products were receiving. I went to "Liberty Subaru" because of its proximity to my home. I had already test driven about twenty other brands, but felt I should give Subaru a try. My initial contact was with David Finkel. He was patient, knowledgeable and honest. He encouraged me to take my time and find a car I really liked. There was absolutely no pressure to make a sale. He was always available for questions via phone, e-mail or in person. When I met with Tom Portee to discuss the financial arrangements, I encountered the same friendly attitude. He was completely willing to help in any way he could. Before driving off in my new Subaru Outback, Steve Klein spent close to an hour with me explaining the various technical aspects of the car. Since the car I was turning in was a 2004, he had his work cut out for him. Although I am computer literate, there was much to learn. All three contacts I had at the dealership extended themselves past the purchase, offering me any help I might need in the future. Easy Choice I love Subaru cars so choosing a the make of my next car was easy. I bought my previous car at this dealership and loved it (Alex Welch sold me the car and it was a great experience - it was my first car!) and the service, so getting the next car at Liberty was another easy choice. No high pressure and I honestly felt like Steve was really trying to help me, he was very patient with me considering how indecisive I was (sorry!!). I honestly have no complaints and I know that my next car will also come from Liberty Subaru! :-) More

Best Auto Purchase Experience of My Life I first called about an Outback I saw on-line. I spoke with Steve Klein who promptly answered my questions about the car. I visited the dealership and worked with David Finkel. I found another Outback I was interested in. Took that for a ride. David answered all my questions without any sales pressure. I made an offer on the car which was accepted. David, Tom Portee, and Henry Dobson were spectacular in how quickly they were able to arrange financing and take care of the DMV issues. I received a great rate, signed all the papers, and rolled off the lot a very, very happy customer. Everyone was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend Liberty Subaru to anyone. I will definitely return for my next Subaru. More

one of the best dealership expriences After being kicked off of All-American Ford's lot (Hackensack, NJ) for looking without a sales person at 12:00 in the afternoon, I decided to stop by After being kicked off of All-American Ford's lot (Hackensack, NJ) for looking without a sales person at 12:00 in the afternoon, I decided to stop by Liberty Subaru (Emerson, NJ), after work. it was late 7:45PM almost closing time but I walked around and looked at their inventory. I noticed they had cars in the back of their building so I went in and asked if I could look at cars, the salesman there said of course you don't need to ask! So 5min to closing they let me look around not even rushing me! The next day I went back was not harassed or bothered, I asked for a salesman and was quickly helped by a nice salesman. He listened to what car I wanted and amount I wanted to spend, he got just that, NOT what he wanted me to buy or spend (like other places)... The whole finance process went very smooth and fast! NO add-ons , No extra keys for life , no bull crap about extended warranties, no window etching NOTHING!! Yes this place is a stand up place where they give you what you want and nothing else... Highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
