What can I say about Sass and the crew. Nothing but good things. I have mental health issues and any stress, even positive, can have a severe impact on me where it impairs my thinking an Nothing but good things. I have mental health issues and any stress, even positive, can have a severe impact on me where it impairs my thinking and cognitive issues. Sass and the crew took care of me and made sure that things were explained and re explained when needed. Plus, everyone enjoyed Hazel my service dog. I will be coming back to sass and the crew soon. My 2003 GMC 1500 4x4 low mileage , There was a grinding sound coming from the rear & I recently had some work done on the fuel tank at this dealership, I thought they should re-check that area. The mechan sound coming from the rear & I recently had some work done on the fuel tank at this dealership, I thought they should re-check that area. The mechanic was working on finding the problem for 3 1/2 hours, 2 times I went for a drive with him in order to try to recognize where the sound was coming from as the sound would come & go. The emergency brake we recognized didn’t work all this time & brakes were weak, After 3 1/2 hrs he couldn’t find the problem and the mechanic asked that I rebook another time as he had other jobs that needed his attention. In his recommendations he suggested they would check emergency brake problem on my next visit. I paid the bill $450 dollars & drove off now knowing there was a brake problem because the mechanic told me so. I ended up at island automotive a shop near by, They quickly went for a drive & concluded the rear brakes were not working & had the rear wheels off & discovered driver side emergency brake shoe was destroyed & that’s what was causing the grinding & rear brake failure. All of this was concluded within 15 / 20 minutes ! Oceanside GM never removed the rear wheels in 3 1/2 hrs in order to effectively go though the process that I paid dearly for them to do. When I returned to Oceanside today with another problem with the truck I mentioned my last experience to the service advisor, she said I could bring it up with the service manager but he was not in. All of this taken in to consideration ) I will Not purchase my new truck at Oceanside GM nor would I return to the dealership. I would be very surprised if any level of follow up resulted in the time & money I lost from this experience with them. More

I must comment on my service experience at Harris Oceanside Chevrolet Buick GMC, I recently took my beloved classic 1979 GMC truck in to get a pinion seal issue repaired, first I must say the appoint Oceanside Chevrolet Buick GMC, I recently took my beloved classic 1979 GMC truck in to get a pinion seal issue repaired, first I must say the appointment process was flawless, Sheila Hopkins my advisor listened and understood my concerns and made sure they had the required parts at the ready for the repair. She also immediately said this is a classic and had the perfect Tech, Brian Daradics to work on it, who did a fabulous job, he didn't even use all the parts that they had at the ready as they were not required. I understand Andy Lankester also saw the truck in the shop and spoke with Brian about the repair. After hours pick up with Janet was smooth, with everything ready. I want to thank all who were involved to make this a very positive experience. More

We just took delivery of our 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 from Oceanside in Parksville. We have owned a lot of trucks over the years but this one is truly a work of art. Finally got an electric car! Very positive experience from my initial phone call to the dealership about whether they had any Bolts when I was fortunate to speak with Les Horne Very positive experience from my initial phone call to the dealership about whether they had any Bolts when I was fortunate to speak with Les Horne who is very knowledgeable about the Bolt. Equally great was the fact a Bolt was going to arrive in the next 2-3 weeks. Les ensured I had all the information I needed to make the decision to get the Bolt and also arranged for me to see an actual Bolt that another customer of his had purchased. I found the finance person Annie very helpful and efficient and all staff I have met have been friendly and willing to help. More
