Hello I'm Sam Scarlett, manager on the used side of the street here at Freeman. Shortly after buying my first Toyota in 2007 I decided why not sell them. Most of my career has been spent with New Internet Sales. Recently I was offered the challenge to help manage our Pre-Owned department where I've discovered selling a used Toyota is just as easy as a new! Quality sells its self. The Freeman environment aligned with my values of customer service, "Honesty and Integrity." I appreciate that our sales process allows me to never start a customer relationship on a lie! Felt the communication was very lacking. Im a single mom and was trying to purchase a vehicle for my son. I tried to complete as much as I could before arriving so i could just sign what I Im a single mom and was trying to purchase a vehicle for my son. I tried to complete as much as I could before arriving so i could just sign what I needed when arriving with my son. Multiple times I asked what else I needed to do, explaining my situation. They told me finance would call me and then said it wasn’t necessary, I was approved. Once I arrived, the finance department acted like they had no idea about any of it and started going over my financials in front of my 17 year old which was exactly what I wanted to avoid. When I tried to object, I was told, It’s ok it won’t take that long. Like I was being ridiculous. Just listen to your customers and be clear on next steps. More
