Buying another Used car. The car I'd been watching to come up for sale, used - finally was available. I inquired about a test drive a day or so later and was given the keys t The car I'd been watching to come up for sale, used - finally was available. I inquired about a test drive a day or so later and was given the keys to take a test drive at my leisure. No pressure, no complications, smooth process. I paid cash, so there was no issue about financing, etc. I found an electrical problem a day or so later (mice) and it was quickly taken care of (with a free loaner car too). The only regret so far is that I didn't look closer at the age of the low mileage tires. The vehicle only had 13,000 miles on it, but the car was 11 years old - so tire shops won't rotate or service the tires as they are beyond the 10 year maximum life of tires. I inquired about an adjustment for my needing to buy new tires, but was told that since the tread was of a safe depth, they had no concerns or responsibilities for the tires exceeding tire industry safety recommendations for age of tires. So now I'm shopping for replacement tires. Otherwise, the car is fine, service is fine, I'd buy from them again; but I looked closer at the tires. More
