Buyers should be told in advance to unfreeze credit versus learning upon arrival. Also, don’t waste a buyer’s time if you can’t be competitive on a trade-in. Just say it in advance so the buyer can make a decision to get an appraisal from you or not. You should revise your survey to include “Maybe” or “Not Sure” as options to your question about recommending your dealership. I indicated Yes, but it’s a Maybe or Not Sure. More
