30 minutes compressed into an hour and a half All employees we worked with on our purchase seemed professional and helpful. Especially good was your followup over several weeks as we considered the vehicle and waited for our money to clear the banking system as we were doing a cash deal. We didn't get that at other local Ford dealers. The problem is the ridiculous length of time it took to complete the transaction. You knew when we were coming in, knew we had a cashier's check for payment, had all of our lisence, insurance, and personal information from previous visits and had the vehicle ready. Most importantly, we arrived with 2 small children which was plainly obvious. We wanted to give you a check and get a vehicle. A simple transaction that should have taken 30 minutes took over 90. Why? So much back and forth from our table area to the main desk for who knows what reasons. Then we HAD to sit through an upsale about rustproofing we indicated early on we weren't interested in. Why? The we HAD to sit through another upsale attempt at an extended warrantee. Again, why? I don't know who was more tired and frustrated at the end, me or my 5 year old. Nice car. My wife got what she wanted at the basic price we were interested in. But it took 3 visits, each at 90 minutes or more to get it done, and that is STUPID as well as completely wasteful and disrespectful of my time. Snap it up, can't ya? More
