Spent two thousands dollars to address an issue that is still there! They said it would be better but it is exactly the same as when it first arrived. The mechanic said the links, shocks and control arms n still there! They said it would be better but it is exactly the same as when it first arrived. The mechanic said the links, shocks and control arms needed replacement but said the links can go first in effort to reduce the suspension sound. When I arrived to get it done, the mechanic said shocks and control arms needs to go first. I hesitated because this was opposite to what was initially communicated. It costed twice as much than just the links itself but I had good faith to believe the suspension noise would be “reduced” so I went ahead with those services. I drive the largest SUV at Acura to pick up 3 kids and their bags from school but the rental car was for the smallest sedan at Acura. No complaint there since it’s only for a day. However, upon car rental return they told me to wait in the lobby. I later went outside and the assigned service advisor said he was unaware that I’ve been waiting for 45 minutes. I paid the fees and got my car back and was not satisfied with the service because the issue that I came in for is still there. I can’t even say it’s “better.” I gave it a whole day to drive my car dropping and picking up kids from school to see if there’s a “settling-in period” but there is no change in ride quality. Yes, the ride is stiffer due to new shocks but that’s not what I requested in the first place. More
