I found the overall experience seamless, laid back and stress free. Michael DeFreitas is the sales manager and is amazing! He guided me through the credit process, answered any questions I had, and gave me piece of mind. He wasn't pushy, and was warm, kind and knew his stuff. Michelle Wolfe was my end of sales go to person, and she was amazing! From the test drive, to the information about the car, the in's and out's, insurance, plates, a beverage to drink, and her overall warmth, patience and fun personality. I felt like I was dealing with family, not a corporation and I felt that my money and business was respected at all times. Charles was great too, showing me the features of the car and programing. Alex the receptionist was welcoming as well, and made my dad a coffee while we waited which we both appreciated. Heaven Sent These guys were my saving grace. I was a former client of Kia of Hamilton and was left with a bad taste in my mouth. So I decided to venture out to Lo These guys were my saving grace. I was a former client of Kia of Hamilton and was left with a bad taste in my mouth. So I decided to venture out to Lockwood Kia, where I was greeted by my Sales associate, David Moore. Such a breath of fresh air. He was professional and courteous to my situation. Michael Holquin, the amazing and patient, Business/Finance Manager who went above and beyond for making the transaction smooth all the way to my delivery and last but not least General Manager Michael for giving me a great deal on trading my sportage, he was straight shooter and honest. This dynamic trio are the real deal. Its been a week now and I am loving my 2016 Kia Soul!!!! More

Great experience....would definitely buy again bought a 2016 Soul and it was a very positive experience. No pressure sales force, sales manager and general manager were all very respectful. My rep bought a 2016 Soul and it was a very positive experience. No pressure sales force, sales manager and general manager were all very respectful. My rep Michelle was very engaging, pleasant, and warm, kept in touch without being invasive. We came in to test drive on Michelle's off night and Dave looked after us. Great salesperson too. I hope the service department is half as good as the sales team. Highly recommend! Finance guy Michael was a hoot to speak with, they shouldn't keep this guy locked in the finanace cage away from the public, he was my favourite character there! Some dealerships I visited were downright depressing and foreboding (can you hear me Oakville VW?). Those experiences really demonstrated what a refreshing difference it was at this Kia dealer. First Kia for me, but probably not the last. Look for either Michelle or Dave to sell you a car, both are very easy going and low pressure. More

Very very very patient! Excellent listening skills by Sales I had a great experience, selecting my used Kia Rondo. Charles, Michelle, and Michael(as well as others) gave me their undivided attention, allowin I had a great experience, selecting my used Kia Rondo. Charles, Michelle, and Michael(as well as others) gave me their undivided attention, allowing me to take my time and determine what the best choice of vehicle was for my needs. If I wanted specific features, Charles and I would discuss these at great length, figuring out which features were required for me, and which features were only something that was an extra thing: not one of my requirements. Having gone through all of the vehicle details, the encouragement and help from Trent and Michael, in finishing up my selection, well, that was the icing on the cake. Getting help from Michelle with setting up my Bluetooth for my vehicle was also very excellent as well! If you want patient staff, and thorough results, choose this dealership and employees! More

In the past I have found the process of purchasing a car a bit stress educing, Jack was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt confident and comfortable as he assisted me in picking out the right vehicle. From the initial inquiry right through to the very comprehensive and personal handover nothing was too much trouble. The cliche is that buying a vehicle is a stressful ordeal but not in this case. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Brutal and shady First time car buyer. Worst experience ever. Was looking to buy a used kia forte koup, and travelled to oakville from Niagara because I saw a vehicle First time car buyer. Worst experience ever. Was looking to buy a used kia forte koup, and travelled to oakville from Niagara because I saw a vehicle online that I liked. Had I known the customer service was the way it was, I would've never bought the car. First off, Jack, the guy I purchased it from was not knowledgable on the vehicle or his company policies what so ever. Every question he had to leave to ask someone else about it, and eventually when we said we will go home and think about the car, he said he had not made any sales this month and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get this one. Since I liked the car, we eventually negotiated some things and I ended up purchasing. However this is where the problems started. I purchased the car on the Tuesday, and since they were going to tint the windows for me and fix a bunch of scratches, they said I could pick it up on Friday. Also, the drives side floor mat had holes in it from what looked like winter salt build-up, but jack said no problem to fixing that, and in fact we went into one of the other used cars on the lot and took their perfect condition floor mat, BUT this is where Jack started to get shady but I hadn't noticed until I drove the car home days later. The mat he grabbed didn't fit properly on the notches on the floor of the car so it slid around a lot. He clearly knew this bc he had to unclip the old mat, when he knew the new mat wasn't clipping in properly, he should've told me instead of being shady and hoping I didn't notice. Getting back to the day of picking up the car, we checked it out and everything making sure it was all set, however none of the scratches were touched up as he said they were going to be, but as jack says you can just come back and get it done. Umm no I can't because I'm from niagara and my work schedule doesn't allow me much time to do things like that and this was supposed to be all set for me to pick up. Once I started driving the car home, I noticed a strange noise (sounded like a wheel bearing) and right away called them, they said when I come in to get the paint job, they will look at it. So a few weeks later, I headed back again, which took an hour and a half because of major traffic, I waited in the waiting lounge while they supposedly painted the scratches over and checked out my car, a little while later they came and said they'll have to order a wheel bearing and it should take 7-10 days and at that time I'll bring it back to get serviced. What?! Bring it back again? Take another day off of work? Onviously pissed off I left, and it was raining so I couldn't see what kind of job they did when they painted. Got home and the next day was sunny and bright out, looking at my car and it's full of buff marks about one foot in diameter, obviously pissed off and now so tired of my mat sliding around and realizing there were clips that the mat didn't fit into which is why it was sliding. I told myself when they set up the appointment for my wheel bearing, I will ask them about the other things. 3 weeks go by, still no call about the part being in, so I call them and demand to speak to management. Spoke with Michael and he looked into the part and I told him of my other annoyances and we both agreed that it's not a brand new car and that thigs would be wrong, however when staff are making promises or being shady, that is not acceptable. So he said he would look into everything. Finally he called to say the part was in about a week later (he left a message) so I called back to make an appointment. I had made it for 2 weeks from then, as I had the day off and was driving through the area. We had made the appointment for 10am, but they stayed I could drop it off any time before that as I was driving through. When speaking to the manager michael. He assured me that on my next visit he would personally deal with the scratches and the mat situation to ensure things were done properly this time. Finally the day came and I went to the appointment, got there at about 9am. Said I had an appointment, the guy looked at me and said we know nothing about any of this, and there is no appointment made. I obviously almost lost my head, but he was very nice and said but it's not a problem we will get you in (the ONLY nice part of my entire experience) . I left the car there and a few hours later they called to say the car was finished , but they do not carry the carpeted mats anymore and asked if it was ok if they gave me the brand new rubber mats. I said absolutely as long as you can guarantee they are not going to slide, the gentleman said no, they will not slide. Needless to say the mats don't even fit properly, the sides have to be folded and one hundred percent they do slide and have even caused me to nearly get into an accident on several occasions because they get stuck under the pedals. But I was way too pissed off to have to deal with the company again so I just took out all of the mats all together. Just when I thought I was finished and never had to go back and deal with Lockwood kia ever again, I get a letter in the mail from serius radio saying my 3 month free trial has ended. Thank you lockwood kia for letting me know I had a free trial. Luckily serius radio had awesome customer service and gave me a real three month trial, which I will continue to pay for that service after the trial ends because it was so great. In conclusion, never buy a car at this dealership, they are honestly the worst and if I could give back the car , I would in a heartbeat based on the customer service I've had to experience. More
