Poor service Brought my 2015 gmc canyon with a flat tire. They repaired the flat buy didn't tighten up the spare back properly so now the rear axle seal is being repaired. When I was trying to get OEM windshield replaced, they kept insisting on after market with a $100 upcharge over any other glass place. When trying to organise insurance paperwork for the windshield I was given 3 weeks of running around until I mentioned I would go to another dealership then miraculously the paperwork appeared. I bought the truck from Brian McLean GMC on Vancouver island who treated each customer like gold which is why I went to GM. Capital GMC takes the concept of stealer-ship to a whole different level. $43 to look at a piece of trim, even though I told them the piece had something wrong with it. Customer service is non-existent at this place and it really makes me regret buying a GMC. More

Great Staff I recently took my SUV in because the engine light had come on and I must say the service I received was amazing! They knew I had 3 small children and I recently took my SUV in because the engine light had come on and I must say the service I received was amazing! They knew I had 3 small children and they went as far as to pick up my SUV and drop it off for me so that I wouldn't have to take my children out. They did it all with a smile. The drivers were exceptionally nice. I was very pleased with their service and highly recommend GMC Capital. More

Terrible servicing for my car I brought my car for servicing due to the air conditioner not working as well as provided my extended warranty information. After three full day visit I brought my car for servicing due to the air conditioner not working as well as provided my extended warranty information. After three full day visits and three diagnostic charges due to the air conditioner being forgotten to be looked at during the first visit the issue was finally diagnosed. Not only were they happy to charge me the third diagnostic fee they also quoted me $1300 to repair the issue (replace Evap core) without taking the time to look into my extended warranty coverage. I called the warranty company when I got home after paying $170 for another diagnostic fee and was to,d not only was that diagnostic fee covered by my warranty the repair was as well. The service department did not apologize for the error nor did they offer to refund the diagnostic amount. I did not have extra money to spare based on incompetent laziness and lack of awareness to attempt to save money based on the fact I was already there twice. I will not be returning and instead will take my car to another repair shop willing to reimburse the fee I was charged. I am very disappointed in their customer service especially given the current economy where customer service drives revenue sales. More

Exelent service , nice approach,very friendly, I use Dodge Ram 1500 2012 5.7 hemi . I try to find others to help me out ,then I find Emma Watson in parts dep.She was soooo helpful ,She make few phone calls , contact me by e mail sent me sample of product with prices and we finalize transaction .I never experience so helpful person in truck business as Emma, I continue contact with Emma Watson to present day , anything I need ?first call is to her. Congratulation to Capital GMC to have such friendly , knowledgeable employee. Service not needed I came in for an oil change and requested a tire rotation. One of the three individuals looking after me advised that he had checked the tires and a r I came in for an oil change and requested a tire rotation. One of the three individuals looking after me advised that he had checked the tires and a rotation was not needed. Also advised that treadwear was even thereby indicating wheel alignment was good. They could have simply done the rotation and charged accordingly. I appreciate that I was advised that service was not needed, saving me money. More

i have been dealing with Southgate since 2006 and since then have purchased 3 new vehicles and recommended many people that have bought new vehicles as well. The vehicle i have now is a 2011 2500hd desiel and i love the truck itself as i have custimized it with Dougs help like always. Unfourtantley this truck has been nothing but a dissapointment since day 1 with the DEF system. it has been in the shop for a total of almost 4 weeks since Dec.!!!! and more before that. This last time i was ready to sell it and buy a Ford or Dodge because i had enough. Fourtunatley, because of Southgate and the people i have delt with over the years kept me from doing so as we came up with a plan and put in the def delete kit and so far it is great. i continue to refer people there and i know i will be back to purchase my next vehicle for sure. Thanks to everyone there that i have listed above. More
