I dropped off my X1 on a Saturday. Since I thought my car was going to be ready the next day, I left my work badge in the car. There was a part they still needed so I could pick up my car on Sunday. It was going to take several days for the part to arrive. I called first thing Monday morning to ask if there was anyway I could have my work badge delivered to me. I work for the school board and I go to several schools every day. For security reasons I must have the badge. Loraine, went out of her way to help me get the badge. She found out that one of the service engineers, Carlos lives near me. She assured me I would get my badge that evening. Sure enough, after work Carlos delivered the badge to me. THANK YOU Loraine and Carlos! More

No excuse for poor communication! Made an appointment for a recall part for 2 PM Saturday. After I got to the service department, I was told it would take 4.5 hours to due the job. So Made an appointment for a recall part for 2 PM Saturday. After I got to the service department, I was told it would take 4.5 hours to due the job. So I was offered a rental car, but had to return it by 1 PM on Sunday, but my car would not be done until Monday. Sonja or Loraine should have told me at the time I scheduled it would take 4.5 hours. I took time off work to do this. Both my husband and I work full time, 6 days a week(during season). His next day off is March 20th, which he might have to reschedule. He took the day off for a very important doctor appointment and now he has to mess with this problem. So are we upset, you bet we are. Its a recall part, so its not like we have done something to the car or could take it somewhere else for service.. Also the appointment on Saturday was rescheduled from January 23, my husband had the day off but was called into work. I just want the BMW dealership to know, not everyone is retired and have the options to work around your schedule. Plus we live 1 1/2 hours from you. All I received that day was an apology! REALLY! More

Ambiguous So I came to BMW in the summer to have my blower motor wires replaced for the recall. I was told to wait for the letter which I did. Seth gave me an So I came to BMW in the summer to have my blower motor wires replaced for the recall. I was told to wait for the letter which I did. Seth gave me an appt. right away. The brakes were checked, tire inflation & recall done. No charge. THEN Seth tells me oil gaskets are leaking .to the tune of $2700. I deferred. I left cloth under car overnight. NO leaks. I checked oil sensor gauge. NO change. I had my car checked at Encore 2 weeks before BMW & NO problem. Either Seth was lying, mistaken, misinformed or the mechanic is incompetent or all of these. Either way I am reluctant to return to BMW for service. I will continue to be serviced by Encore on 41. I have owned BMW SINCE 2001 and this has never occurred. More

Had a very good experience. Had to top off fluid level. Manager at entrance was very organized and took care of us quickly. Problem: Several months ago we entered Q and was asked to back out because they Manager at entrance was very organized and took care of us quickly. Problem: Several months ago we entered Q and was asked to back out because they would not wash cars any more. After buying three new cars at the dealership and promised a car wash when we needed one we were quite disappointed to say the least. This time after our car was serviced the manager told us that they again will wash our car. We declined but again are not happy that we were never informed that this service started again. This is also after writing three different times expressing my complaint to manager/owner/salesman. Common courtesy says somebody should have e-mailed us this info. Will I buy my fourth car at Sarasota ? Douglas Edebohls More

I do not see Lewis Mention listed for rating, but he was absolutely fantastic with going over my recall parts to other service issues. I very much appreciated that I was not pressured to commit to scheduling my additional service issues in the moment. I felt that I received a wealth of additional information regarding the maintenance and overall health status of my car that I wasn’t fully aware of. It was refreshing to be treated as a human and not just a number. All the kindness I received was genuine and not forced. More
