Jerry has been with the AH Ford family since 1987. He started as a parts driver, then became an advisor, manager, and has been our Service Director since 2005. Jerry's passion for customer satisfaction has not only made him lead our Service Department to an unprecedented amount of awards, but that is how he met his wife. She was a disgruntled customer until Jerry resolved the issue and asked him to marry her 8 weeks later. They have been married now for over 15 years.

I slowed and crept around the building to try and listen. Jerry who was in his truck and leaving for the day, noticed my actions, inquired on what I was doing, and wouldn't go home for the day until I was comfortable with the cars performance. Turned out the sound was outside and not my vehicle. * The next morning, Mike called to follow-up and give me a suggestion for my interior regarding another issue they had performed for me. Nothing else to say, but Great Customer service, and Thank you to Jerry, Mike and staff! More

My remaining problem is with Ford corporate and the customer satisfaction program in place for the Ford Fiesta. AHFord is being put in the middle which is unfortunate. "The warranty covers repairs to clutch components for the dual-clutch automatic. Both the clutch materials and seals have been a source of DSP6 problems, Ford spokesman T.R. Reid told Cars.com. Ford promised to reimburse Focus and Fiesta owners in the group for prior clutch repairs that owners paid for out of pocket. Owners can call Ford’s hotline at 833-805-3673. Separately, a transmission control module in the cars can fail, resulting in the vehicle defaulting to Neutral, Reid said. The TCM is under extended replacement warranty — 10 years or 150,000 miles for cars built through the above build dates — and owners received a software update to give an enhanced warning of failure to prompt immediate repairs. But 16 percent of Fiesta and Focus owners, amounting to about 165,000 in the U.S., never got the free update. Ford says it’s reaching out to them again. Apparently, the reimbursement program expired and is now fiction. More

After looking up the cars records, they gave us a call and asked if we'd like to do the Works, and we said yes. H right in and waited on immediately. Always helpful and knowledgeable.I have purchased my second Ford Edge from AH Ford the last 10 years. The 2009 Edge lasted 155,000 miles with no mechanical or appearance problems. My new 2019 Edge ST is the best yet. The service department with Steve Verhagen is super...always ready to serve. Their preparation during Covid-19 was outstanding with all preventions in place. I will, and have, always recommended AH Ford to neighbors and relatives interested in purchasing a new Ford... especially an Edge. Chuck Gundlach... a very satisfied customer and owner of a Ford. I drive 40 minutes to come for service at Arlington heights Ford. Bar none there is no better service department around. They are attentive, straightforward and honest.
