Beware and make sure to triple check the vehicle before spending your hard earned money. (***Edit*** I received a call from the Sales Manager to bring the truck in. A step in the right direction. Will provide further updates as we progress) I purchased a 2019 F-150 from Jim Ellis Ford in Sandy Springs 4/30/2024, which was a less than desirable experience in itself. ***My Salesman (Hank) and Finance Manager (Leon) were awesome! No issues with either of those gentlemen; hence the 5 stars for both of them.*** The next day (5/1/2024) while driving the truck the service engine light came on. I had only driven about ~60 miles. I took it to have it checked and it was a P0420 code related to the catalytic converters and emissions system. I asked them to clear the code thinking it may have been a fluke. After driving another ~60 miles, the light came back on again with the same trouble code (Friday 5/3/2024). After quite a bit of research, I have learned that this is a known issue by Ford (TSB 22-2260). I have tried to reach the Jim Ellis Dealership several time by phone and email for help with this emissions issue and have been ignored thus far. It's disheartening and frustrating when you place your trust in such a reputable dealership with a large purchase only to realize that the moment you drive it off the lot it won't pass state inspections due to failing emissions components. I'm hoping they'll make it right, but at the moment I'm getting zero feedback from the Jim Ellis team. I'll update this review if things happen to change. More

Very disappointed. Was promised a test drive and upon arrival, was told that the used car I'd arranged to look over and test drive was not properly inspected/evaluated Was promised a test drive and upon arrival, was told that the used car I'd arranged to look over and test drive was not properly inspected/evaluated yet and was not available. The only reason I didn't rate them a 1/5 star rating was that they did make the car available to look over/inspect in the parking lot and they were exceedingly polite in dealing with me. However, I live 40 minutes away and they didn't even make any effort to compensate me for my time. Completely disengenuous. More
