Devin was a pleasant and professional salesperson but fell short in communicating and responding to calls.. Depaula needs to fix their delivery experience. Vehicle arrived to their lot 2 days before fell short in communicating and responding to calls.. Depaula needs to fix their delivery experience. Vehicle arrived to their lot 2 days before our scheduled pick up date. Evidentially the vehicle arrived with a 2 foot crack in the windshield and no one at the dealership noticed until a few hours before the scheduled pick up. They called 3 hours before our scheduled pickup time, explained the situation and the pick up was moved out a week in order to install a new windshield. How can a dealership take delivery of a damaged vehicle and not inspect it until several hours before customer pick up? Additionally we ordered an OEM trailer tire pressure monitoring system with the vehicle as a dealer installed option. When vehicle was delivered they stated that the item was not in stock even though we ordered the vehicle 3+ months in advance. 3 days after delivery it was found.. When we brought the truck to have the vehicle side of the system installed, it sat all day on the lot. When I called to check on the status of the install they stated that they needed the trailer to install the system and the salesman was supposed to call that morning and tell me. That never happened. The salesperson stated they were never told to call me. Not sure who to believe at that point. I called another dealer to confirm that the vehicle side of the system cannot be installed without the trailer and they stated that this was not the case. That dealer installed the vehicle side of the system in about 30 minutes without the trailer. Even though I had to pay for the installation that should have been performed by DePaula as part of the purchase price it was worth not having to deal with them any further. Lastly, the finance representative aggressively pushed their extended service and repair plans. I expected the upsell at my initial meeting with him as that is what dealerships do, but he tried again when we came to pick up the vehicle telling us he could provide the plans for hundreds of dollars less that he originally offered. Quite off putting that they would not give the best price first time around. More
