Hi there. My name is Derek Schiavone and I am the Senior Finance Manager at St. Catharines Nissan in St. Catharines Ontario. I have had the privilege to be a member of the St. Catharines Nissan family for the past 6 years and I enjoy every day I come to work. My responsibility at the dealership is to ensure every customer gets treated fairly and is provided with finance solutions no matter their past credit situations. Previously to working at St. Catharines Nissan I was lucky enough to be a member of the Canadian Football League for 5 years (2008-2012). This has allowed me to develop valuable teamwork skills. My wife and I could not have been happier with our new car buying experience at Collins Nissan . The moment we walked in the door we were put at ease by Geoff. He explained the difference in vehicles to car buying experience at Collins Nissan . The moment we walked in the door we were put at ease by Geoff. He explained the difference in vehicles to us with no pressure to just sell us something. Derek was very helpful explaining the various financial options available to us. He was able to get us into a brand new car at a price we could afford. Ashley was very knowledgeable explaining all the controls and how to set them up when we picked the car up. Everything was explained to us in detail from start to finish. We had a most enjoyable experience because of the way all the staff treated us. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone and I most definitely will. Sometimes buying a car can be very stressful, but in our case we can honestly say that was there wasn't a bit because of the great staff and the way they treated us.
