Hi there. My name is Derek Schiavone and I am the Senior Finance Manager at St. Catharines Nissan in St. Catharines Ontario. I have had the privilege to be a member of the St. Catharines Nissan family for the past 6 years and I enjoy every day I come to work. My responsibility at the dealership is to ensure every customer gets treated fairly and is provided with finance solutions no matter their past credit situations. Previously to working at St. Catharines Nissan I was lucky enough to be a member of the Canadian Football League for 5 years (2008-2012). This has allowed me to develop valuable teamwork skills. From the original call to the appointment we found Derrick to be a very organized and knowledgable Associate. Our rating was excellent across the board.We visited the dealership to view a 2012 Altima that was advertised. We met with Fred and negotiations were fair and reasonable without feeling pressured. Honestly thought it was a great experience. I purchased my first car from here and it was very welcoming. Chris and Derek were both extremely helpful just as much as welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to get me financing when other places couldn't. My Overall Experience is only rated as OK because I did have one issue. After test driving the car I informed S financing when other places couldn't. My Overall Experience is only rated as OK because I did have one issue. After test driving the car I informed Shane that the vehicle pulls to the right while driving to which he responded that it would be fixed when the safety was done on it. I can only assume that whoever did the safety decided that the pull to the right wasn't an issue because the vehicle still pulls. Shane & Derek were great to deal with and I would not hesitate to send my friends to deal with them. I just recommend that if you noticed something wrong during the test drive to do another one before picking the car up especially if it is inconvenient to return to the dealership for them to fix it. More
