Title: Misrepresented Certified Pre-Owned Acura & Refused to Resolve I purchased a 2022 Acura MDX SH-AWD Advance from Hall Acura Newport News in May 2022 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The CARFAX at th to Resolve I purchased a 2022 Acura MDX SH-AWD Advance from Hall Acura Newport News in May 2022 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The CARFAX at the time showed “No Accident or Damage.” In December 2024, Suttle Motor Corporation discovered prior rear bumper damage. On July 14, 2025, the updated CARFAX and AutoCheck both confirmed an accident and damage reported on 09/24/2021 — before my purchase. When I confronted Hall Mile One Automotive Group’s finance director, they claimed their CARFAX at the time was “all they had,” ignoring the fact that I overpaid for a CPO vehicle that did not meet Acura’s standards. They also sold me an expensive Fidelity Warranty by falsely saying the car had no manufacturer warranty remaining. To this day, I have never received a copy of the Fidelity contract despite repeated requests. The dealership and their attorney refused to communicate directly, only through lawyers, even though I cannot afford one. Both Hall Acura Virginia Beach and Southern Acura Newport News claim they are not responsible. This is unacceptable, and I warn others to avoid buying here. More

Go to any shop but Southern Acura of Newport News. I've got the worst treatment in the world this last past month from this shop. I paid for diagnosis got got the wrong diagnostics got one problem but I've got the worst treatment in the world this last past month from this shop. I paid for diagnosis got got the wrong diagnostics got one problem but didn't fix everything. I've had to go back to the shop four times and still do not have my car running properly without no noise. I've had the shop manager Mr Britt involved in this whole thing and he emailed me today and told me that my situation for me wanting to have a copy of the paperwork of what is it going to cost I was informed that it wasn't even that serious. So because my service or my money or my vehicle is not that serious even until the manager of this sales center I think I need to take my business somewhere else where they can appreciate and give me good quality service for a reasonable price. Again Kevin and Cisco the sales rep are some of the best sales rep and polite and patient people I've ever dealt with in this world. Both of these sales rep have tried to help me get the problem fixed on my vehicle but because they are not technicians and they are not the manager of the shop they kind of was pushed to the side. While the technician tried to cover his own self because he had too many invoices to handle himself he only told me of one problem and not all the problems. When dealing with suspension it is not just one thing. So he told me about the sway bar link but not about the hardware to the struts which means I have to waste another day kill more time because this was not fixed or done the right the first time. The manager has not even offered to put me in a loaner vehicle to make sure that they keep the car and check it test drive it after they fix it to make sure everything is right. They fixed the sway bar links and no one test drove the car to see if the noise was still there. As soon as the car was fixed I called Kevin before I pulled off all the way out of the lot and told him that the car was still making the same noise. Also I sent him a text and an email. I also emailed the shop manager Mr Britt. all I asked for today was an email of a copy of the invoice for the work that they were going to perform and what it cost for a parts labor and how long it's going to take to get done and he referred back to my email and told me it wasn't that serious but he'll see what he can do to get Kevin to email me. That is not the response nor the conversation that I thought I would have with someone that was in charge of the shop. Again worse worst experience ever. And I've been coming to this shop since 2019 faithfully. Guess I have to find a new shop now More

I have been coming to this shop since 2019. The staff management and all technicians have been nothing but the best I've been nothing but the best. I would not recommend no other shop outside o The staff management and all technicians have been nothing but the best I've been nothing but the best. I would not recommend no other shop outside of southern Africa of Newport News if you live on this side of the water to get your car replaced repaired and or diagnostic proper maintenance. I thank God for the staff I thank God for the management and I thank God for the new ownership of this dealership. I recommend this shop to all of my family and friends and anybody that may read this. If you're looking for a clean near waiting area, or if you looking for technicians that take pride in their work, or if you looking for sales reps with respect courtesy politeness as well as patients this is the shop to go to Southern Accra of Newport News Virginia.
