At that time of purchase he had mentioned about 1 1/2 - 2 years down the road let us contact U to upgrade not only the car but work out a deal to lower the interest rate of my finanancing. Well extemely happy to say both, reduced interest rate plus a brand new car. Worry free for the next 3 years. Hands down the most AMAZING car purchasing experience EVER! I have given Collins Nissan St. Catharines a 5 star rating because of the amazing, fast, friendly and easy experience I had in dealing with them and m I have given Collins Nissan St. Catharines a 5 star rating because of the amazing, fast, friendly and easy experience I had in dealing with them and more specifically Chris Van Wiechen one of their special sales managers. I contacted Chris and I let him know my situation and what I was looking for and he was absolutely amazing and super helpful from start to finish. After setting up an appointment with Chris he contacted me the night before our appointment to take down some information to get the financing process going. The next day I met Chris at the dealership and he had already gotten me approved. We talked about the financing and he was honest, and not pushy at all. No pushy sales tactics with Chris. He listened to me and was able to get me what I wanted. Then we took a couple cars out that I had in mind for a test drive. Chris was able to get me both of the two cars I had in mind and after the test drive I picked the one I liked better and the rest was history. I had my car within 24 HOURS after test driving it on our first appointment!! The next day Chris had already worked out the ownership, insurance, license plates and had the car detailed for me and ready to be picked up. When I picked up the car Chris went over the terms with me and made sure to go over everything. Nothing was left out and he was super honest and nice. A real class act. I signed the papers, he went over the car with me and all the buttons and features inside the car and then I happily drove it off the lot! I would highly recommend Collins Nissan in St. Catharines and I would suggest everyone who goes in there asks for Chris Van Wiechen. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well and both visits to the dealership we were greeted with smiles, and coffees. This made my first experience in buying a car off a lot very memorable and very happy. I would definitely recommend Collins Nissan to anyone no matter what your situation is. DECEPTION areal effort to represent an honest transient sale however the final contract was another thing.Charges for extended warranty and protection of cloth areal effort to represent an honest transient sale however the final contract was another thing.Charges for extended warranty and protection of cloth and paint were thought to be necessary according to finance the car. The parent finance company when contacted to make payments clearly say that the additional warranties and protection of cloth and paint were not at all a condition of finance but rather an additional charge by Collins Nissan to the tune of $5 600.dollars. When this was pointed out to the dealership an email said they would cancel the extended warranty reducing by $3200 so far three months later according to the lending agency no discounts have been applied. The charges for protection and tinting that was never requested are still on the Collins Nissan ledger. as I await. More
