vehicle was delivered with a laundry list of issues. Only 3 were actually addressed by the dealer and the rest were just NOT. As of 01AUG22, radiator replaced, oil leak near timing change repaired, turbo replaced. The window moldings that I pointed out at the onset are now having to be replaced on my dime, why because the vehicle was not refurbished to Alfa Romeo CPO specification. I documented this vehicle with photos, etc. After looking at pictures today, I noticed that NONE OEM brake pads were on the vehicle when I purchased it, and since it is in the shop again I asked the Alfa service center to look into if the pads were OEM or not…..GUESS WHAT? Yup….I specifically asked all the right questions and got nowhere with this dealer from the beginning. This vehicle was involved in a front end collision prior to purchase that was not disclosed to me until I saw it and sent it back. If I am making this up then why did they put a new front shroud on it, and why did I have a coolant leak in the radiator? All signs point out this dealership as taking me for granted…..save your self the hassle, unless you enjoy having a CPO that you have to go through it with a fine tooth comb. CPO means that a vehicle is refurbished to spec of Alfa Romeo, it does not mean a used car with a warranty. There are plenty of other dealerships out there, educate yourself and don’t make my mistakes.
If you don’t believe me, I kept very detailed records of all of this.

This was originally a 5 star review.
Upon you telling us you weren't happy with your car we sent a driver in a loaner car from Ohio to Michigan. Left you with a loaner while your car was brought back to be reconditioned. We kept you involved throughout the reconditioning process and didn't bring the car back to you until you told us you were completely satisfied. After you received the car back you wrote a very nice review with 5 stars and emails to the store employees. We haven't heard anything from you since then and had no idea that your satisfaction had changed.
In July our office called to ask you for the trade title that you have owed us since March. At that point you voiced your frustration to our title officer and said you wouldn't send us the title. The car was reconditioned to CPO specifications. If your car had any issues after that they were not pre-existing and were covered by warranty which is why people get CPO vehicles.
If you would like to discuss this further feel free to call our general manager Joe Peck at 440-334-2155.

You sold a vehicle that was in a non reported front end collision that caused enough damage that the front bumper shroud had to be replaced. The brakes bad are NOT OEM Alfa Romeo. The door gasket was tack glued and not fixed. I have photos of before and after the “Reconditiong”. I just wanted to get the vehicle out of your area because 2.5 weeks to do what? Replace a front bumper shroud from a separate vehicle on your lot (that continually pops out of place)? Your people even admitted that it was not gone through. Who delivers a CPO with nuts and leaves under the hood? I have pictures of that as well. Who passes off a car with a shoddy fix job just to make a buck? Who passes off a CPO with numerous scratches and such on the vehicle? Strongsville passed a car off as CPO that who. I have heavily documented this with emails before initial receipt, during “reconditioning period”, after receipt. I have photographic evidence that proves what you did. And, I have requested your corporate attorney name so I can make contact with them. I will be taking you to small claims court for OEM brake pads, brake pads installation, etc.. Then when I win the case in small claims court due to my extensive documentation. I will post the decision on this site.
I work in Emergency Medicine and if I did this poorly of a job…..well I would not have a job. I told you on the onset that my expectations are high because that is what people expect of me.
I expressed my displeasure to your company in email for but it was not until you got a crap review did you “reach out”. If I did a poor job on your body in an emergency situation, would you want me to work on your body again? Common sense dictates a huge NO.

ATTENTION: VETERANS & FIRST RESPONDERS
DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT PURCHASE A CPO FROM ALFA ROMEO OF STRONGSVILLE
I can not over emphasize the above. I purchased a 2018 Stelvio the beginning of 2022. When it was delivered to me I had a laundry list of items that were issues. Strongsville picked up the vehicle and said they went through the list. I should have listened to my gut when I found that the vehicle a CPO was sold with front end damage that required a new front bumper (NOTHING ON CARFAX ON THIS). I should have listened to my gut when I found and reported that the brake pads and rotors were not OEM. I should have listened to my gut when the vehicle was returned with only several items were fixed. I should have listened to my gut when I found the door gasket that was hanging down repaired with tack glue.
In this past year I have had the vehicle in for the following:
1. Replace delaminated windshield that Strongsville was made aware of. This was done out of my own pocket. - Done at different dealership.
2. Replace the turbo - Done at different dealership.
3. Replace the radiator which had a leak - Done at different dealership.
4. Replace all tires due to wear. - I made Strongsville aware that they were suspect at delivery but they said that they were within CPO spec but just barely.
Current issues to be fixed:
1. Infotainment no longer operational.
2. Front cluster at dash board no longer operational. - Burning odor occurred while driving and then stopped working.
I have all of my documentation and communications in order should you need to review them. As a veteran and a first responder I feel insulted by this situation. I have been held to a much higher standard than most during my lifetime. I am not complaining about that, I actually welcome it. However, I have higher expectations than most when it comes to quality and service. I can not state strongly enough, based on my experiences....stay away from ALFA ROMEO!
Top rate dealership from the management to the service
department and also the salesman. Highly recommend this STRONGSVILLE Alfa Romeo dealership
