am extremely disappointed and disgusted with the service department at Finch Hyundai. I received a letter from Hyundai Canada stating that my engine warranty had been extended due to possible engine problem department at Finch Hyundai. I received a letter from Hyundai Canada stating that my engine warranty had been extended due to possible engine problems. I have been hearing engine noise, and since I am only a few hundred kilometers away from being past the new warranty limit, I contacted the service department right away. On Friday morning, I called and spoke to a very polite woman who told me someone would call me back. No one did. This has been a pattern in the past, so I called again on Monday. Once again, I was told I would receive a call back. Again nothing. On my third call, I asked to speak to a manager. The receptionist said he was busy but would definitely call me back by the end of the day. He never did. When I called again, I was told he had gone home. I asked to speak to someone above him because the situation was unacceptable. After a short hold, I was suddenly told the manager was still there but “busy.” He said he would call me in the morning. When I explained that I cannot take calls at my job, he magically became available to speak with me immediately. He told me to come in at 8:00 AM the next morning and he would personally look at my car and start a work order before the warranty expired. I arrived on time and asked for him. He was paged, but never came. I overheard staff questioning whether he was even at work, only to find out that he was and should be paged again. After waiting 15 minutes with no one coming to speak to me I had to leave for work. It has now been a full week since my original call, and I still have not received any follow-up. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is my second Hyundai vehicle, but after repeatedly being ignored, dismissed, and treated with no regard for my time, I will not be purchasing another vehicle from the Finch Auto Group. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
