My "fair" rating is based on my last visit on June 24, 2021. I brought my 2017 Highlander Hybrid for a scheduled service as well as investigate the source of a gasoline smell from the engine. I was informed that the mechanic/technician (#919) did not smell any gas odors but did notice that an "engine shampoo" was performed recently and that the smell may be related! I did clean the engine using a foam product on May 25, 2021 but this product had little to no residual odor whatsoever. Even if there was any odor, it would not be gasoline based or would have dissipated by June 24, 2021. Also I started my vehicle first thing this morning(June 26, 2021, 9:00am) and the gas smell still exists. This has been a disappointing visit to Whitby Toyota and not what I've come to expect. More
