My buddy, who works in the car business in another state, calls ahead to Mall Chevy ensure that I was getting the best deal possible on a 2021 Equinox. Everything was supposedly worked out (with floor Mgr Tina Cerrito) on an Equinox LS for $23,500 (Employee price and $3250 rebate) out the door. My actual interest rate with GM Financial was 8.24%, but they lied and increased my rate to 10% to try to make even more money from the bank. They started off with a $650 payment for 84 months and after being called out on lie after lie ended up at $385 a month, which still didn't add up even at 10% interest. I ended up walking away but not before being insulted by the sales person (Ben Bangura) and sales manager (Joe Perri) and having paperwork ripped up in my face by them. They made my Fiancée cry, pressured us and tried scaring us into buying. My buddy called Elkins Chevrolet, spoke with the Sales Manager there and was given FULL DISCLOSURE on everything. I found out my rate from GM Financial was 8.24% and my payment that started out at $650mo (at Mall) ended up at $345mo. Best part ... my buddy set them up with an easy sale ... they only had to be honest and put a sale in the books. Mall Chevy wasn't and now I'm driving a brand new Equinox from Elkin's Chevrolet (856) 452-0570 - ask for Mike Montez he is honest unlike the folks at Mall. Sorry for your loss Mall Chevrolet- next time maybe you'll do the right thing and not be dishonest! Again see Mike Montez at Elikin's Chevrolet in Marlton.
