I went to the dealership looking for advice on removing fresh asphalt tar from the lower door panel. A service advisor told me to try claybar that was available at Canadian Tire. I did so but was unsuccessful in using a Simonize product. I returned to Winnipeg Hyundai to again seek advice and this time Jennifer Henderson actually came out to my vehicle in the parking lot, got down on the pavement and demonstrated how to use a claybar product along with a glass cleaner which was different than the Simonize product. Great customer service, initiative and pleasant demeanour.

Took over 5 weeks to fix my car ...which is under... - Melanie.janz
Took over 5 weeks to fix my car ...which is under warranty. I received a loaner for 1 week only. When i picked up my car I found a part on the passenger side floor ....and the sunroof roller shade was closed ( they closed it)....i press button to open and its now broken after sitting in their care for 5 weeks. Sigh. Another trip back to ask for help....and was told to book appt wait times are 2 weeks. i insisted and finally told the part was a GDI cap that was left on the floor .. forgotten ....and it was now put back on. Then told sunroof worked fine....so i got back in car and pressed sunroof button...still not opening? I asked again....you got this open ? Oh....no they didn't check that. I Couldnt make an appt either as he was too busy. I am going to wait for an email now .. to book it in for a diagnosis for an issue that broke in their care while sitting on their lot for 5 weeks . I was told.... 2 to 3 weeks wait time..... as the issue was unrelated to the engine failure issue they just fixed. But it is related.....as this is my ongoing service experience :(

Took over two weeks to repair my vehicle. Should have been a four day job. Had to rent a car during this time. Called a couple of times to find out what was happening and no return call from them. Very poor service. Would not recommend them.

My daughter took her 2019 Kona in for recall inquiry, as is consuming oil like the recalled models and was told it was not on the recall list. They did a full service oil, filter etc etc, no charge thank you. Told My daughter they flushed the engine, nothing noted on the invoice ? then they said they inspected the brake system and there was major work required in excess of $950.00.
When I looked at her car this morning I noticed the not one rim was removed from the vehicle ( all wheel nuts had dirt that had not been disturbed) so what they did was guess work trying to pull the wool over the eyes of a woman. I was not impressed and would recommend ANY service they say needs to be done. don't do it till you have the vehicle inspected by an independent workshop or even two. BE VERY VIGILANTE ON WHAT THEY RECOMMEND TO BE SERVICED
