Bait, Switch and False Advertising A new Passat was advertised on their website for an$8000 dollar discount. Burka, the salesman tried to switch my interest to a golf and when I insist A new Passat was advertised on their website for an$8000 dollar discount. Burka, the salesman tried to switch my interest to a golf and when I insisted on the Golf he said the ad was a mistake. I have complained to Omvic because this is such a sleazy tactic. Given vw’s reputation in the Diesel engine scandal makes me think it would be better to consider Subaru or Toyota. More
