Brought my 2008 duramax in for a high charge problem. They changed out the alternator which was working fine. Never diagnosed what the issue was just changed it out. Couple weeks later booked another app They changed out the alternator which was working fine. Never diagnosed what the issue was just changed it out. Couple weeks later booked another appointment and they told me it was charging properly at 15.4 volts which is xx. I checked the leads to the fuse box and were corroded and cleaned them up and now charge is 14.1-14.2. Now I'm out $700 do to them not reimburse me for the alternator I did not need!
