Getting exactly what I wanted I came to James at a time when I wasn’t able to finance a truck. I just wanted to look and wasn’t sure that a dealership would even entertain me. James let my family and I drive as many trucks as we wanted. He wasn’t pushy, he didn’t try to up sell me on anything. I left that day and felt that when I was ready to buy, I would return and deal with James. A couple months later I was ready to purchase a new truck. I found the exact model I wanted at another dealership. I went to James with the specs and the price and asked him to do better. James and Alan Walker ran the numbers and searched province wide for a truck that would suit me so they could earn my business. All the while James encouraged me not to settle for anything other than perfection. James and Alan found the perfect truck, beat the price and got me into it as fast as possible. On the day I was supposed to pick it up, James told me it wasn’t ready because of a minor surface defect. Initially I was annoyed, but quickly realized that James, the sales guy, inspected my truck to make sure it was perfect when I received it. This is not something I would have expected. At delivery, James walked me through the truck step-by-step. His knowledge of the truck’s specs, infotainment system, and particularly the “valet feature” blew me away. His sincere joy at my reaction to getting the truck I wanted showed the passion he has for this work. Special shout out goes to Chantelle Geddes in finance. She was so easy to deal with. I came in without ANY documents and she let me send whatever I needed through e-mail, text or smoke signals which, if I were her, would drive me absolutely insane. I would recommend James, and Western GMC Buick, to anyone looking to get into a new vehicle. They will treat you fairly and honestly from start to finish. More
