My relationship with Winnipeg Honda started April 25, 2006. I was looking to lease a new vehicle and a friend recommended I contact Ken McRae. It was great from the get go, not only was Ken very knowledgeable he was great to deal with. I soon realized that Honda is all about the service!! In addition, to the quality of their products. I loved my CRV. In 2009 when my vehicle was rear-ended and written-off, Winnipeg Honda was wonderful in handing everything - no hassles. Ken and Micheal were helpful in arranging for a new vehicle, another CRV. In 2011, the dealership contacted me re: an upgrade which I took. During that process, I really connected with Micheal as we talked about more than the purchase, they do care about you the person. When I walked into the dealership a year later, Dylan recognized me right away which was very impressive given all the people they deal with. I was made to feel welcome and it was like old home week with Ken. Micheal was very understanding of my situation and went beyond the call to ensure I got the best arrangement possible for my new Honda Accord. It is about building relationships & trust. Jeremy was also very attentive and helpful - although I could not convince him to let me keep the big red bow on my new car : ) -- which by the way, is (as my teenage sons would say) a "sweet" ride. During my most recent visit to the dealership, I was very pleased to see that Winnipeg Honda had hired people with "disabilities". When I first stepped into Winnipeg Honda I felt very welcomed, associates immediately asked if I needed assistance. When it came down to all the paper work I met with Judy and she did a remarkable job explaining all the features that Winnipeg Honda had to offer and she is very knowledgeable about the financing process, it helped clarify a lot about buying a car, considering this was my very first vehicle purchase. I'm pretty sure my last dealer at Winnipeg Honda conned me. I told him I wanted an SI but he talked me out of it, and I ended up getting a regular Civic. Seemed like he could care less about what I wanted and only really cared about making a sale. After that, I didn't want to deal with Winnipeg Honda again. But one day, I brought my car in to get serviced and decided to look into getting the car I initially wanted. I'm glad I decided to go back to Winnipeg Honda because everybody I dealt with this time around totally revitalized my faith in them. Andrew was great, honest, and respected my time and decision. He knew a lot about the SI and provided me with a lot of information about it. Raj was super friendly and gave me a great deal, and Judy worked hard to make sure the paperwork was done right. Judy also made sure I got everything I wanted with this deal, and I didn't feel pressured at all to get additional things I didn't really want to get. I didn't give much notice as to when I wanted to pick my car up. I pretty much showed up Friday morning and told them I wanted my car for the weekend. Myles went way out of his way to make sure my car was clean and ready for me to drive for the weekend. He also followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied with my experience. Everybody I dealt with made sure I got everything I wanted, and I actually felt like they cared this time around, so thank you all! More
