I live in Newcastle and I drive to Whitby Toyota to have my vehicle serviced. The staff is very friendly and I am always treated with great respect there. This dealership doesn't even deserve the one star but I guess I couldn't do half. I took my car that had died on me while i was driving it. They called and told me it is my starter and it's going be 500 I guess I couldn't do half. I took my car that had died on me while i was driving it. They called and told me it is my starter and it's going be 500+ to get it fixed I told him that's not the problem he called back and said its the circuit a day later they call and said its my daylight running light was causing the problem so they had to disconnect it. 24 hrs later and $300+ to figure that out not to mention that they left the car with no daytime running light so now I am at risk of being ticketed. After all of that the car is still giving problems a man who doesn't even have a shop came to my house and in 3 hours diagnosed and fixed my car for $150. When I complained about the whole thing to John he offered me a free oil change, I'm not looking for freebies I want quality for my money, Toyota whitby is a disgrace to Toyota I wouldn't even let them wash my car. I have had my two Toyota's serviced here and 3/4 of the time the service was done incorrectly. After an oil change, I had to return since the vehicle was leaking oil in my driveway. Brake change cost dou time the service was done incorrectly. After an oil change, I had to return since the vehicle was leaking oil in my driveway. Brake change cost double and took 3 hours, when they quoted 1.5. Right turn signal causes headlights to shut off. Took 2 hours and over $100, sent my wife home without telling her that they problem was not fixed. I called and got ten thousand excuses, and then told me the part is over $500 dollars and they couldn't explain it to her (since she was a lady and wouldn't understand). Tire pressure warning light keeps coming on even though the tires are properly inflated, they keep saying the tire needed air. More
