From the first test drive with Stephanie to the awesome deal that David and Lawrence and Ian prepared for me, the experience was second to none. Do you know that after I bought the car I went in to the service area to check on the purchase of winter tires from Keith only to be told 'Just wait until the fall - I don't need your money right now - I'll get you the best deal when the new models come out in the fall...I have your back!' Where else would you find such service excellence and such genuine kindness? And that approach is mirrored in every interaction I have had with the good folks at Whitby Toyota. Debbie, Amanda and Art in the service department made a point of finding me to offer their congratulations on my purchase saying how happy they were that I had purchased such a great vehicle. I have to agree - I have purchased a great vehicle but I have also found a phenomenal dealership. Whitby Toyota exceeded my expectations in every way. They were available when we needed them to be available, they found us the vehicle WE (really just my wife) wanted, and they made trading in our 2014 GMC Acadia a breeze. They dealt with insurance swaps, they took care of everything with licensing and made sure our 3 boys (all under 5) who we had to bring in with us were happy and enjoyed their time in the showroom. My experience comes from dealing with art in the service department. On a visit I had there for a problem I had I discussed what issues I was having with my car and the hard starting I was having. Instead of the problem diagnosed correctly was sold a battery which was not needed. The issue was with the ignition coil which I had to diagnose and fixed the issue. Why does art go or present himself as a service manager when people in the dealership tell me he's no manager? More
