I was very pleased with that overall experience, but I must say, when I returned to 10 years ago I bought my first Toyota Corolla from Whitby Toyota. I was very pleased with that overall experience, but I must say, when I returned to buy my second Toyota Corolla, just over 2-weeks ago, my experience was EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment he sat down with my husband & I, to the time I drive my new car off the lot, Rashid made me feel like I was home at Whitby Toyota. A calm relaxed conversationalist, attention to detail, focus on my needs as a returning customer, direct loyal approach, and no "typical car salesman pitches", Rashid reminded me why I LOVE MY TOYOTA, and reinforced I will be back when I'm ready for my next Toyota. Our latest purchase of a 2018 Camry was no different. Our Sales/Leasing Consultant Gary Brown was a pleasure to deal with and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We travel from Markham and utilize Whitby Toyota for all of our vehicle purchases and service. Upon delivery both of our new vehicles, Gary spent hours to explain new features of our vehicles (much beyond to our expectations) compared with another terrible Toyota dealership in Markham area. Excellent dealership. We purchased our 2005 Toyota Echo from Whitby Toyota and have had it serviced there regularly. Their service is very good and reasonably priced. I fa We purchased our 2005 Toyota Echo from Whitby Toyota and have had it serviced there regularly. Their service is very good and reasonably priced. I fact, with exhaust repairs they contracted out to a local garage with welding capability that can repair rather than replace. When it came to buying a new Toyota iM I did my research and had an offer prepared. I sent the offer to two other Toyota dealers in Durham Region and brought it with us to Whitby Toyota for a test drive. I did not receive a reply to the email from the other dealers. Rashid Lorgat was very helpful and pleasant. He did not force himself to come along on our test drive which other dealers do and I find stifles our evaluation of the vehicle. When we returned I told Rashid that we would buy the test drive vehicle and gave him my offer. Within 5 minutes the offer was accepted and we were sitting down completing the deal. We picked the car up a week later and Rashid went over all the controls with us and introduced us to the service manager. All in all ,this was a very pleasant experience and not like the stressful buying experiences I've had in the past. I recommend Whitby Toyota and Rashid Lorgat if you are looking for a new Toyota. More
