While I was there I saw a used car and we came to a deal and I purchased it. Generally a good experience except for the actual purchase. Finance advised me to lie on my application because I'm an investor and don't have a 'traditional' job. This cased financing to fail, and I had pull teeth to get my deposit back. That was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership, hands down. However, Nik made up for it by going the extra mile. He is the only saving grace for the experience and the only reason the review was not 1 star. Nik - keep up the good work. The rest of you.. pull your socks up. More

Insanely great experience Nik Chinell went above and beyond any expectations I had for leasing a vehicle. Not only was it my first leased vehicle, but my first car in general. Nik Chinell went above and beyond any expectations I had for leasing a vehicle. Not only was it my first leased vehicle, but my first car in general. He made what should normally be a some what stressful event a really calm and good experience. He took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and which car would suit the needs of myself and my son best. I've since recommended a bunch of people to go to that same location and to go with Nik for any help. I would/will be taking my next lease there and can only hope he's the one to help again! :) More

Checking into the possibility of a two year lease on Civic I'm paying 6% interest on my current car financing due to living out of country from 2006 to 2011, so now that my credit is back to normal I wanted to I'm paying 6% interest on my current car financing due to living out of country from 2006 to 2011, so now that my credit is back to normal I wanted to see about leasing a new Civic to get rid of the higher interest loan. Two years is the maximum length I'm willing to consider due to an expected career change in two years, but unfortunately the terms of a two year lease are not practical. Even though I didn't end up doing any business during this visit, Nick was pleasant and did everything in his power to try to accommodate me. My experience at Whitby Honda exceeded my expectations in every way. More

They use shady sale tactics, their sale reps are very dishonest, they give you one number and they put another down on the purchase agreement and when you point it out they try to confuse you even more with numbers, taxes and a whole lot of things that doesn’t make sense. Long story short we had a pretty bad experience here, first we discover that what we had agreed on wasn’t what was written on the lease agreement, we point it out and it was eventual changed. Then everything was arrange, credit check done, loan approved, ownership and trade in done, they fax everything to our insurance company, the insurance was switched, they even paid off the lien on our trade-ins! Then an hour before we go and pick the vehicle we got a call that there has been a mistake on their computer and we would have to pay an additional $7000, or it be added to our monthly payment, either way we have to pay extra $7000 before we can take the vehicle! This was a mistake that wasn’t noticed for several days and 4 different people had to have looked at the account on different occasions and none of them noticed what they call a “computer glitch” . The whole thing was so stressful, Whitby Honda, don’t do business here, take your money somewhere else!!! More
