I decided to check the Whitby Oshawa website again and stumbled on something I liked. My Dad and I went in and were greeted by Nick. He was friendly, straightforward and helpful in his suggestions and recommendations. He knew the product and you could tell he enjoyed his job. He waited with us until the moment of store closing and texted me if I had any further questions. As a new car owner, he answered all my questions the first time and had the patience to answer it again. Please see Nick! He is a great salesman. More

Great Car & Great Sales & After Sales Service Thanks to Colin McMaster, we bought a used Toyota Highlander from Whitby Oshawa Honda, and we love it. We needed a larger vehicle for our growing Thanks to Colin McMaster, we bought a used Toyota Highlander from Whitby Oshawa Honda, and we love it. We needed a larger vehicle for our growing family, and so we found our vehicle online via Autotrader, so we asked for more info on the car and very quickly Colin got in touch with us. Colin made our test drive - with a 2 month old, a car seat, and stroller - simple and easy. We even had Colin climb into the back seat to check the leg room, while I was holding our son. Colin's fantastic follow up skills and responsiveness meant we were always in the loop on what was going on before we came for the test drive. Once it came down to negotiations, Colin helped move the deal forward with professional negotiations - we never felt pressured or insulted, even though our initial offers were low. Colin & Trevor were able to provide information on other similar Highlander's listed across Ontario, what the fair market value of our new car was, and the Car Proof report - after reviewing all of this, we felt that we could make an informed & fair offer which was accepted by Whitby Oshawa Honda. We feel that we got a great car for a good price. When it came to payment - Kyle was able to provide us with some great financing options that we wouldn't have known about without his assistance. We received the car from Sammie, who was also great to deal with. After the first day of owning the car, we noticed an issue with our AC. We immediately contacted Colin, who was very responsive to getting the issue resolved fast. He got us in touch with Sarah from the Service department, who was able to provide us with the easiest and most convenient solution for us. In my opinion, it's this that really separates Colin and Whitby Oshawa Honda from other dealers - anyone can sell you a car, but Colin was able to manage an issue afterward, promptly, and properly. That's the sign of true customer service. We would without hesitation buy another car from Colin and Whitby Oshawa Honda in the future, and we would recommend anyone we know to go there for their car needs. They have a massive inventory of great vehicles, at competitive prices, and great service. More

I have mostly owned cars from the big 3 North American automakers but have grown increasingly disappointed in the design flaws and seemingly ongoing costly repairs. Friends that have had Honda vehicles have always raved about them. It was time I finally have a look at this brand. After reviewing what I wanted and searching for a 2016 CR-V I found one nearby at Whitby Honda. I contacted them on line at night after hours and the next day I had an email from Meagan Steele asking how she could help. When I went to the dealership a few days later the vehicle that I was interested in was sold. Meagan contacted me the next day to tell me that another one, almost identical to the one I was interested in, had arrived. I went to see it, take it out for a test drive and negotiated the deal. Any questions that I had she answered and if she didn't have the answer, she went and found someone who did. I must say I was very impressed. I was treated with respect and did not feel as if I was rushed or pressured at any point in the process. Once Meagan and I had agreed on the negotiations I arranged financing with Dave Takla and the good experienced continued. This dealership should be commended for the way they do business. Can't wait to return in a couple of years when I'll be looking to replace my other vehicle. More

Terrible service We went to view a CRV we saw on the website. The salesman bragged about having sold 30 cars the previous day. He tossed us a set of keys and said use the key fob to locate the particular car you want to see. He didn't help us locate it. The fob was dead. We walked through the lot 4 times and could not find it. We went back to the building not even sure where to leave the keys we were given, so we set them on the desk of an employee who didn't even bother to look up at us or acknowledge our presence. We literally got no service at all. Frustrated, we decided to leave. The salesman who gave us the keys saw us getting into our vehicle and asked if we found the car. I said, "no we were unable to locate it and it doesn't seem there's anyone who can help us". He apologized and said, "I'm alone here today but I can get someone else to help you." I replied with, "if you're alone, how can you find someone to help us?" He said "good point" and shrugged as we left. I've never experienced such terrible customer service. We wasted an hour of our time travelling to see a car that no one would even show us, then we wasted another hour wandering around the lot looking for the car we wanted to see. Very poor experience overall. More

Of the three times it has been driven, it required boosting twice. While promises were made that the battery would be cleaned of corrosion/charged/replaced as necessary, I find myself having to buy a new one not two weeks after I drove the car off the lot. The staff was entirely unhelpful and stone-walled when I called to address the issue. I cannot emphasize just how disappointed I am. On top of that, the remote does not work at all even though the sales rep told me it would only need a battery. Absolutely look for a car somewhere else. I included my original positive review below to show that I was very satisfied with them before I realized I'd effectively been lied to. Original Review: I bought my first ever car with the help of Adam, and he made it a very straight-forward and stress-free process. Being new to the whole thing, I had a ton of questions, and found both he and Ashley (who helped with my financing) to be patient and knowledgeable. This dealership should be proud of its employees! More
