We purchased the 100,000 km extended warranty on our leased coupe. At only 50,000 kms, a few months before the lease was up, we started having trouble getting the 6-speed manual transmission to engage in first gear. Push in the clutch, move the stick to 1 and get a horrible clicking noise when easing in the clutch. Our daughter took it to Westwood Honda service department. They "fixed" it, by adding some clutch fluid and doing a bunch of other work that she didn't request or approve, and charged her over $600. They said the work wasn't covered under warranty. And guess what, the problem with the transmission came back after only a few 100 kms. The extended warranty says it covers drive train breakdowns and associated fluids, but service said it didn't and she had to pay. Will never get another Honda or deal with Westwood again.
