I talked to most dealers in lower mainland. Some chose to deal on the phone some did not. Westminster obviously did. I spoke with Harvinder the sales manager and he quoted me ~25500 for a cash deal. And that price was on par with others. (proving he knew the model I was after) This was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I spoke with Harvinder again and he told me with the cash rebate offered this month he would do a cash deal for ~24560. I called around after I got off the phone with him and everyone I spoke with told me to take this deal and run. So today I messaged barb the sales lady I originally talked to at Westminster to confirm these details one last time and she told me there had been a mistake and that the ~24500 was for a le with upgrade package. I told her this was garbage and that they were simply trying to get me into the store in hopes to finalize a deal. She said it was an honest mistake and that they thought I had originally said an le model. This is crap as Harvinder gave me the original quote based on the se. Why would I change the vehicle I'm looking for? These guys are dishonest and will say anything to get you into the store and then when called out say it was an honest mistake. I call B.S. I will never do business here and will steer anyone i know looking at toyota to wherever I decide to buy. But it won't be here. The sales management team is brutal. Barb the sales lady was nice enough and seemed to know her stuff but Harvinder was terrible and cannot be trusted in my opinion. Not even a phone call from him explaining his "honest" mistake. Terrible in every way. I suggest buying elsewhere. More

Mail promotion to trade for newer model. The letter invited me (a past customer of New Westminster Toyota) to see if I was interested in trading in my 2013 Highlander for a current model. I went in there 100 pm to see what kind of offer I can get even though my 2013 Highlander was in good condition and had new winter tires installed. I wasn't expecting to exchange my car but Salesman Sunil and Manager Harv hammered a good deal for me on a lease for a 2016 Highlander by late afternoon. The 2016 Highlander performed well in Lower Mainlands snow/freeze spell that started Dec. 5, 2016. When my lease is up in 3 years they invited me to perhaps upgrade again. That time just might be my third dealing since the previous two sales there went without a hitch. More
