Tom Peter's went the extra mile to make my buying experience a very special one. I drove to Edmonton to purchase a vehicle that I saw on the internet, and also in a sales flyer. It turned out when I got there, it was not the car I thought I was purchasing. I was dealing with a sales person called Kip, so it turned out that I bought a different car, on my way back to Fort McMurray, I realized that my car did not have heated mirrors. When I got home I tested Kip and asked where my heated mirrors were, and he test me back saying, you went over the options on that car in my office, you do not have heated mirrors, just heated seats. Glad you made it home safe. So then a few days later I get a call from Tom Peters (Public Relations Manager) I told him of my experience and the internet having all the wrong information for the vehicles that I was comparing online before ever making the trip to Edmonton. He then told me he was going to look into it and wanted to know if it would make me happy to have heated mirrors in the car, I told him I would be estatic, so he told me he would get back to me, which he did by email. I didn't hear anymore for a few weeks, so I decided to email him and ask him what the status of my heated mirrors was. He called me the same night, and said someone from the dealership was supposed to call me but they had not. He said I will see what happened tomorrow, I asked when I would hear back from him and he told me by friday. Well Thursday afternoon I get a call from Tom, who told me that he was going to have my car checked by Car Tech the following day in Fort McMurray to find out if it had heated mirrors or not. He then said "your car is supposed to have heated mirrors," I told him that is what I thought! I have taken the car to the garage this morning and low and behold the car DOES HAVE heated mirrors!!!! I AM ESTATIC!!!! I have a Volkeswagon Jetta at home which is fully loaded and it has a seperate button for heated mirrors. Well the Hyundai Elantra, has one button which operates the rear defogger and the heated mirrors, and there is no indication anywhere in the car that this button is also for the heated mirrors... the dealer (Kip) did not know this, because he told me the car did not have heated mirrors and I still have his text to prove this!! I want to sincerely, thank Tom for going the extra mile to make me estatically happy with the purchase of my new 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS Coupe. I must say that from the moment I entered the dealership to the moment I left with the vehicle I purchased I felt that everyone cared about me. Before I decided to buy my new vehicle, I did my research. I went to West Edmonton Hyundai knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted and how much I expected to pay for it. After a bit of negotiating wit research. I went to West Edmonton Hyundai knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted and how much I expected to pay for it. After a bit of negotiating with Aaron Ratsoy and Richard Lam, I got the vehicle that I wanted with all of the accessories at the financing rate & term that I expected. I worked out the financing details with Vance Yue who was very easy going and just enhanced my overall buying experience and perception of the dealership. From start to finish, Richard Lam took care of my every need and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from West Edmonton Hyundai. More
Second vehicle purchase, original sales associate no longer with Hyundai, requested that Aaron suggest a sales associate who would be a fit. Aaron did a great job of assessing fit and recommended Richard Lam who was excellent. Richard was approachable and respectful and provided a thorough overview of the vehicles of interest. Richard was relaxed on the test drive and encouraged testing of any of the features. Our vehicle was ready for pick up with additional features requested within two days. On the day of pick up we met with Vance and he completed the paperwork in a thorough and efficient manner so that we could get on the road. Richard did an outstanding job of orientating us to our new vehicle and went above and beyond to describe a couple of features not in the manual that he was eager to share with us. A great team, but Richard made our decision to purchase as he is very knowledgeable and patient in responding to all of our many questions. Richard has provided prompt responses to those few questions that we have asked since the vehicle purchase. Thanks Richard! More

He was very good in explanation and in pointing out the strong points of the vehicle. He was friendly, descriptive in explanation, and most of all, I felt him as professional and trustworthy. I purchased my new car with him. Experience with Diane and Vance was also very pleasant. I recently made purchase and did not have chance to visit there for maintenance, but I had a very good impression. Overall, I would definitely recommend West Edmonton Hyundai. At times it felt as though she was a friend doing the car shopping with us and not trying to sell us a car. This is how the shopping experience should be…. very inviting (10 out of 10 for Christa). Diane and Vance in the finance department was outstanding and very patient with our situation. Diane clearly outlined options for us and was very accommodating. The price I negotiated was good and compared to negotiations I had made with other brand dealerships while shopping, and prior to coming to West Edmonton Hyundai. The 2013 Santa Fe was our choice among the vehicles we negotiated. It was the attention to details, concern for the customer’s needs and, most of all, total customer service that sets this dealership apart from the rest. We were welcomed as we walked in and given super service from there on. Cashma took the time to show us a variety of options available in our price range giving the pros and cons of each without the high pr from there on. When we settled on our new Accent the finance staff lead by Vance took over working to get the needed approvals.Once approved all the paperwork was made ready and our vehicle prepared for us. We were offered several dealer add ons but again each was explained without all the pressure we saw elsewhere. Upon delevery everything was explained, my phone paired and the keys handed over. A fantastic car buying experience. Everyone in the dealership was happy for us and showed it! Welle done Cashma, Vance and staff. More
