My experience with West End Hyundai was very positive from the moment I parked my vehicle and walked toward the building. I was given a friendly greeting immediately be my salesperson Alan and asked if from the moment I parked my vehicle and walked toward the building. I was given a friendly greeting immediately be my salesperson Alan and asked if there was anything he could help me with. As a woman I was treated with respect right from the beginning of our transaction until completion which is not always the case with car sales people. I would recommend West End Hyundai and particularly our sales person Alan to my friends. More
This is the third car I have purchased from West Edmonton Hyundai, and this was the best experience so far. These 3 gents kept me entertained anytime I was waiting, they all worked very hard together to find me what I wanted and get me the best possible financing. Aaron picked the perfect car, Lloyd went through the entire vehicle with me, and Jason worked very hard to get the best financing. Everyone there was very friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat and positive. I have never had a car salesman go through the car with me the way Lloyd did, he is very knowledgeable and an excellent instructor. This was my first brand new car, and even the people that weren't working with me came by to offer their congratulations. I would recommend this dealership in a heartbeat, they deserve to be the #1 Hyundai dealer in Canada! More

I went to the dealership on my lunch hour and was greeted with friendly, helpful and efficient service. I was shown the vehicle immediately. It was brought in and cleaned up the same afternoon, so both my husband and I could come back later that evening to both look at it. All the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful, fun but at the same time laid back. They didn't make us feel like we were being pressured into buying something we might not have wanted. Alan Sugiyama you're a great salesman! You went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. All your co-workers in all departments were fantastic. We love our new truck and will definitely be going back when I get to buy a new vehicle! Thank you! Jenn & Brad Leoppky. More

Purchasing a vehicle is one of my most stressful situations. I worry about getting a good reliable vehicle that won't eat gas, need numerous repairs or cost a small fortune. This was a reason I cho situations. I worry about getting a good reliable vehicle that won't eat gas, need numerous repairs or cost a small fortune. This was a reason I chose to look at the Santa Fe XL. Hyundai offers a 5 year warrenty not just 3. If I don't have to worry for an extra 2 years about vehicle repairs, that means a lot. I hate putting money into vehicles... It's a huge stress for me when I have to pay for more then regular maintenance. Another huge bonus for me, are the free oil changes for as long as I own my vehicle. I walked into West Edmonton Hyundai and it was very clean, bright and everyone was extremely friendly. I didn't wait even a minute before I was greeted by Lloyd. He went over everything in the vehicle before I even test drove it. I found this helpful, because there is no reason to drive a vehicle if it doesn't have everything I want. I can't say anything bad about my Santa Fe except that I couldn't get grey interior. I never felt pressured to buy and they worked extra hard to make me feel happy about buying this vehicle. They even gave me the option to chose a different Santa Fe because I wasn't comfortable with the 300km on the first one they located. That showed me that they knew what was important to me and wanted to make everything perfect. On the day I picked up the vehicle it was -41 with the wind chill. Lloyd was willing to stay out in the cold as long as I needed to feel comfortable. He had the vehicle in all night so nothing would freeze. When I got to the dealership, the vehicle was running so it was nice and warm. In addition to that, I was taken into the service department, which looks more like an office waiting room, rather then a dirty garage. This was a wonderful discovery, and it meant that they also care about how you are treated after you buy! I was given a contact in the service department to call anytime I have to book appointments or have questions. I honestly have never had much history or knowledge of Hyundai; but after driving and purchasing one at West Edmonton Hyundai I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from there in the future. More

I had purchased a Hyundai Accent from another dealership and had decided not to return due to their misleading and lack of ownership for statements made. I was greeted very warmly by the staff present and Alan approached me asking several questions to narrow down what it was I wanted, needed and was willing to spend on a monthly and total scale. I had already decided I wanted a vehicle that had a hatch as I needed room for large canvas', more than 150 HP and was adamant that I didn't want a 4 door vehicle. I love sports cars and wasn't going to bend very much on what I wanted as my little Accent would suffice until I found something new. Alan was fantastic, answered all of my questions without hesitation and they were accurate. He knows his product! We took a test drive in a car fresh off of a truck, was friendly and cordial through the whole process. Not once did I feel as though he was forcing a sale; instead it was as though he was more interested in the car suiting my needs and wants. I walked away, saying I'd likely be back and he was friendly, not discouraged nor (as others had then been) irritated that he had taken the time to show me a vehicle. Needless to say I came back, signed the papers and was on my way to work to wait for the car to be prepped and primped for me upon return! There was a small snafoo upon pick up, a TINY ding in the door that had happened sometime that morning. They called me ahead of pick up time, told me what had happened to the car and were so very apologetic. I was able to pick it up that day and enjoy my beautiful (first) new car that week while I was home from site and dropped it off again into their loving care and it was perfect again when I returned this time from site. The most impressive part of this dealership isn't just that they treat you with respect when you come in, nor is it the extensive knowledge that their staff have, or the extremely friendly and personable financing staff. It's the ownership that they show when things go a little sideways. THAT is what makes this an incredible place to buy your car. They're a wonderful group and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a new car! You guys rock! Thank you for being so fantastic, honest and friendly. It was a treat to work with you, I just wish a car purchase wasn't so long term or I'd be back again and again! I would not hesitate to send friends and family here, I'd insist they drove the 45 minutes from the North end of Edmonton just to see how awesome this place is. More
My wife was driving our 2011 Sonata home from work when the sunroof exploded. Brought the vehicle into West Ed Hyundai for repair. Was informed it was not under warranty as a rock likely hit it. (This r the sunroof exploded. Brought the vehicle into West Ed Hyundai for repair. Was informed it was not under warranty as a rock likely hit it. (This response before they even investigated it!) Was told by Jeff the maintenance guy that he also had a Santa Fe come in a couple of weeks ago with an exploding sunroof and an official Hyundai warranty person told him what to look for on a car to judge coverage. Jeff then "officially" looked my exploded sunroof and explained that a rock likely hit it judging by the few chips in my original 3 year old windshield..........thus no warranty coverage. BEWARE......he did not even contact Hyundai warranty department before he acted as judge and jury. I insisted that he contact Hyundai Canada warranty people and then he took some pictures of my 3 original year old windshield gave the Hyundai Canada warranty people the same story and dance. "Surly there must have been one rock that dropped from the heavens and broke the sunroof so .........no warranty coverage. Could it be misalignment in the roof causing stress on the glass or the knocking of the sun roof when you go over bumps.........I will never know because Jeff had already decided what the cause was. There are few morals to this story: The first is if you are going to buy a vehicle from West Edmonton Hyundai........"DON'T". The service at West Ed Hyundai is terrible. Every time I came in for the so called free oil changes it was followed by Jeff coming out and telling me I must perform all the "suggested" maintenance work in in the maintenance manual. (The free oil changes are obviously the gimmick to get you into West Edmonton Hyundai) His constant bugging got so bad I just stopped going for the" free oil changes" and had all the maintenance work done at the Fountain Tire close to where I work. The second point is that I only came to West Edmonton Hyundai for 2 other issues and you guessed it......both involved warranty work which they promptly denied. In the 35 years I have owned cars and trucks there have only been a few times I needed warranty work on the other vehicles and all were approved buy either Chrysler, GM or Ford. The third point is LOOK ON THE INTERNET" for issues with Dealerships and vehicle models you want to purchase. In my case I bought a Sonata with a new vehicle design (2011) so there was no information to start from. That said since then when I search the internet for 2011 Hyundai Sonata's with exploding sunroofs..........dozens show up including dozens of complains about exploding sun roofs on other Hyundai models as well. Jeff and West Edmonton Hyundai as a whole should be ashamed at their service harassment method to garner more work through these "free oil change" gimmicks. Both should also be remember that the customer comes first and acting as judge and jury for warranty decisions without consulting Hyundai Canada is wrong. It is up to the proper Hyundai Canada warranty people to decide and the customer should not have asked for this to be done. Now I have to contend with a tainted decision due to Jeff's effort to garner even more work $ for the dealership. In the end Jeff just cooked the proof to convince the warranty people that a rock from heaven surly must have crashed into the sun roof and caused it to explode one cold day while my wife was driving home. Save your money.......go to a different Hyundai dealership or buy a Chrysler, Ford or GM. More

From the first visit to the dealership, Richard was very friendly and accommodating. He made every effort to answer any questions we had and demonstrated excellent product knowledge. On our test drive, he w friendly and accommodating. He made every effort to answer any questions we had and demonstrated excellent product knowledge. On our test drive, he was able to clearly outline and demonstrate the various features of the vehicle, of which there were many. Brian was also very friendly and helpful and, after some negotiation, we were able to arrive at a purchase price for the vehicle which we believe both we and the dealership were satisfied with. After purchasing the vehicle, Richard was prompt to respond to some questions that arose. Given that the sale had already been made, we feel this demonstrates his commitment to superior customer service. More
