Please allow us to thank you for your review again, Amir on this review platform. Kindly accept our sincere apology if the fuel recommendation info was not clearly delivered on the day of purchase. Since 2016, the introduction of Volvo new generation Turbo engines, the fuel recommendation has not been changed and the recommendation label is always on the fuel door. Our sales management has also indicated to all of our sales consultants to remind customers that 91 octane rated fuel is recommended by Volvo, which is common on most, if not all, European brand vehicles with Turbo engine, so that our customers can get the best gas mileage, lower CO2 emission and in terms of air quality, it is also better to the environment that everyone lives on. More info can be found from European Chemical Industry Council - Cefic AISBL website: https://www.sustainablefuels.eu/policy-priorities/high-octane-and-co2-reduction/ Fuel consumption will vary based on different factors like the ambient temperature, the type of tires that are being used on the vehicle, traffic and road conditions etc. Accordingly to EPA (United States’ Environmental Protection Agency), a drop in temperature between 24 and 7 degrees Celsius (°C) can increase fuel consumption anywhere between 12% and 28%. The test report of your XC60 from the last visit on Jan 13th, 2023, we found the average fuel consumption was 13.6L/100km in our "city road test" and it was between -2°C to -4°C on that day. The published fuel consumptions from Natural Resources Canada are 11.7 (City), 8.6 (Highway) and 10.3 (Combined) for a 2021 316hp XC60 T6 AWD SUV, so it is not too far off under the weather condition on Jan 13th and vehicle equipment condition (with winter tires) on your richly loaded XC6 T6 AWD SUV. As per comments from Natural Resources Canada, it is impossible for a laboratory test to simulate all conditions that you may experience on the vehicle. We hope you can understand. You can find more info from Natural Resource Canada website: www.nrcan.gc.ca as well as EPA website: https://www.epa.gov/ Dealership management has also started an investigation on the documents for this purchase that took place on October 2022. We found the on duty manager accepted a signed offer from you for the purchase price which is also on the final sales contract after price negotiation, so we can only assume a customer agreed on the purchase amount before submitting an offer to the seller for the purchase. However, investigation is still on going with all the evidences to make sure we have a complete picture on this case. As a reputable Volvo dealership, we do appreciate and will accept all inputs and comments from our invaluable customers like you and this is how one can improve and grow.
