A great salesman A few days before Valentines day this year (2014) my husband called me from Victoria Hyundai and said that he was in the process of trading in my Dodg A few days before Valentines day this year (2014) my husband called me from Victoria Hyundai and said that he was in the process of trading in my Dodge Caravan for a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Yes I was a bit surprised but since we had previously owned 2 Hyundai's before, the thought of purchasing this vehicle was not frightening. I met him at the dealership after work that day and went out for a test drive with Andrew. This would be my car so hubby said "you take it out for a test drive." Well I left the lot with a total stranger and felt as though I had returned with a friend. Andrew is a very friendly man who made me feel at ease. We drove off and talked non stop during the drive. This man obviously knew this car inside out and told me all the great things about it. I immediately felt that I could trust Andrew - although I historically had never put the words 'trust and car salesman' together before. Andrew was genuinely interested in me getting a car that I felt comfortable in and one that we could afford. Well long story short, we bought that car, and I have had it for 6 months now and love it as much today as I did that evening. Andrew suggested I play a joke on my husband and the fellow writing up the financial papers (Bruce) and I pulled it off perfectly. I have never seen 2 mens faces drop in disbelief so quickly when I walked in and told them "No deal". My husband sat down in the chair and Bruce told Andrew that maybe they should leave the office and let my hubby and me talk about it. It was then that I told him it was a joke, that I loved the car and that I was ready to sign the papers. I can still see the looks on their faces ! Andrew instigated it, I carried it out and he and I were high fiving like a couple of old friends. Would I ever buy another car at Victoria Hyundai ? Absolutely ! Would I ever want Andrew Hubbard to be the salesman again - You Betcha ! I just don't know what I would do if, when I got there, I was told that Andrew no longer worked there ... let's hope I never have to find out ! More

Excellent sales experience with Wes Lukuku I had not purchased a new car in 16 years. Went to the dealership one Sunday with no intention to buy, just look....Wes, was most helpful and assisted I had not purchased a new car in 16 years. Went to the dealership one Sunday with no intention to buy, just look....Wes, was most helpful and assisted my husband and In focusing in on our driving needs, took us through the features of the sonata and return visits were also encouraged following purchase. We had all our questions answered. As soon as I test drove the sonata, I knew it was the car for me. The daunting exercise of a new car purchase was a pleasure with Wes. Wes exhibits patience, knowledge, and professionalism. It has been almost one month since the purchase and I know I can rely on Wes to assist me when needed. We spent hours, the two nights following the accident, writing emails to different Dealerships asking for a good, nearly new, second-hand car and gave our price range. Out of the many emails sent, we only had two replies. One being from Victoria, Hyundai's Salesperson, Wesley Lukuku. He phoned twice and we went down from Nanaimo to Victoria to see him. He found us the perfect car and was the most helpful sales person we have ever had. It wasn't just the big details he was good at, but the little details as well. He also followed up, after the sale, to make sure everything was OK. We both think Wesley is a great guy and a wonderful Salesperson. We were set on another vehicle, but he convinced us to go with a Hyundai Tucson. We are more than happy with the service we received. More
Not your average salesman! If you are looking for a salesman that you feel you can trust go see Andrew! I did not feel any pressure from Andrew at all and he has definitely stay If you are looking for a salesman that you feel you can trust go see Andrew! Not so at this dealership, and Andrew Hubbard embodies the new spirit of car salesmen. He was open, friendly, non-aggressive and involved. He listened to our story and our needs and produced a vehicle that met all of them. The price was good, and the service was lovely. We have been raving about our experience ever since. No nonsense approach with great customer service. A+ I don't think our experience was unique in any way when we started looking for a newer vehicle. I will admit though that I was on guard about the process and very much more informed than I had been on previous purchases. I wanted to put our goals out on the table to be as honest as I could. Our current vehicle had no warranty left, needed repairs and didn't fulfill our family needs any longer. That on top of a balloon payment coming due which was 3 times the value of the vehicle. I was contacted via chat by Victoria Hyundai while I was browsing their inventory. My objectives were: Refinance to remove ugly balloon payment and to substantially lower the interest rate. Trade in our 2007 vehicle Get into something newer with warranty Keep our monthly payments close to what they were. Within hours I was contacted by Wes L. I spent a few moments with him on the phone to reiterate my goals for this purchase. He was friendly, professional and always provided me up front answers to the questions I asked. A few days later we were in the show room looking at several different vehicles that would fit our budget. We test drove one and we liked it a lot. Wes showed us a loaded 2012 Veracruz. The KMs were a bit high for the year but it had a lot of extras. After all that was said and done the payments didn't work with our budget so we had to decline. Wes then brought out a different 2012 Veracruz with a lower trim level. To be honest we liked the colour better, the lower mileage and the overall condition of the vehicle better. It was also right on target with our budget. The only issue that Wes had with us taking the car right then and there was that he didn't have time to have his team detail the vehicle. :) The car was in good shape but that didn't stop Wes from providing us a voucher for free detailing the next time we needed the car washed. We went for it and purchased the vehicle. They worked with us and the lender to get us into a car that met our needs and the terms of the financing were even better than we had hoped for. My Wife and I love the vehicle as do the rest of our soccer team for a family :). Thank you to Marlo at the front desk, Bruce and Jeremy in sales/finance, Rick in the parts department and finally Wes. My faith has truly been restored with all your honesty and diligence.
