service department I was in the dealer on a Friday to make an appointment for my Tacoma, where the heater was not working. Very pleasant at this time, but when I came b I was in the dealer on a Friday to make an appointment for my Tacoma, where the heater was not working. Very pleasant at this time, but when I came back the next Monday at the appointed time, The person in service did not recognize me, and could not even find my appointment on her computer that SHE had made 3 days before. For me, this is terrible service. They were also supposed to have a courtesy car for me to drive, but of course there was NO record of that either. Follow-up: Once this review was posted, the service department called me to apologize and offer some compensation for the troubles during the first visit. They also informed me of a recall that should be done on my Tacoma, and offered me a free rental car when I come in for this service. So I had to book another appointment to get this recall attended to, which all went much more smoothly than the first time. But I still feel inconvenienced because the recall could and should have been done during my first visit, instead of informing me later, forcing me to take more time off during my busy schedule to come in a second time, and all that involved such as a rental car, etc. Overall, I would say that the service department is (or was) not very organized, at least for me. More
