Great purchasing experience We went into Kingsway Toyota on Boxing Day to purchase a Corolla. We were met by a very friendly salesman (Sean Malayko) who showed us a couple of veh We went into Kingsway Toyota on Boxing Day to purchase a Corolla. We were met by a very friendly salesman (Sean Malayko) who showed us a couple of vehicles. He was respectful of our budget so we did not feel pressured to buy anything out of our price range. He was also very straightforward during negotiations, suggesting that we settle on a price for our Corolla rather than trying to confuse us with add-ons like a starter or winter tires. This wasn't the first dealership that we had visited, so the general atmosphere and transparency was refreshing. When we were close to agreeing on a price, we met with a supervisor (Pha Nguyen) who was just as willing to work with us and our budget as Sean. We did end up purchasing that Corolla that day. The next morning we went back to pay for and pick up the vehicle. Because it was the holidays, the banks were closed, so we couldn't get a bank draft, and our insurance company was also closed, so we couldn't get insurance. The young lady in finance (Catherine On) was very understanding and patient with us while we made a couple of phone calls to resolve the problems. As we were leaving the dealership, Sean let us know that our Corolla had another set of keys with a starter, but that it was missing. He promised to keep looking and mail us the keys as soon as he could locate them. After a couple of weeks, we followed up with Pha and now we have our keys :) We got a great car for a great price, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase or our visit to Kingsway. More
