Run hard..these guys are Crooks, scammers, thieves!!! I went in to purchase a vehicle, what happened, I came out $2,000 poorer. I put a deposit down, the deal fell through bc the agreed price went up $10k way more then what I was told. I couldn’t afford it, and now they refuse to honour our contract and refund my deposit. I’m currently filing a complaint with Amvic. More
I had an absolutely heart-breaking experience at the Sunridge Mazda Dealership. My little sister and parents (who speak very poor english) decided to buy a used honda civic with Sonny, and Cole. Origina Sunridge Mazda Dealership. My little sister and parents (who speak very poor english) decided to buy a used honda civic with Sonny, and Cole. Originally, they went into the dealership, letting the staff know they can truly not afford anything more than a $24,000 car and explained that it is for my sister, who is a full time student. They found a 2017 Honda Civic with 110 thousand clicks for $23500. The sales team were very pushy and pressured my family into putting a $2000 down payment on the car, as they "would not find a better deal", although they verbally assured them that it would be refundable if the deal does not go through for whatever reason. After leaving the dealership, my family shared their experience with me. They did not receive any paperwork so I went in with my sister to request it. Although they were very hesitant in providing the paperwork to my sister (who was the purchaser), they gave us two pages out of a huge binder of paperwork. My family was completely unaware they had signed an agreement for $31 000 before interest. The quoted Mazda interest rate brought it to $35000. My father realized he could not be a co-signer for this, and my sister was devastated that this had happened. Without my father as a co-signer, my sister was then approved, for what would bring it to a total of $38 000 for a five year old car (not to mention the extreme hail damage, and bad dent at the front of the car). As my sister could absolutely not afford this (especially with the new interest rate), she asked to have her deposit back, which they then refused to give back, despite the extreme change in the agreement, after the interest rate change. My sister is now out $2000 and will continue her car search elsewhere. Sunridge Mazda very much took advantage of my parents who are immigrants to Canada, and my young sister. I can truly not explain this awful experience in a brief google review, but lessons were learned and we will absolutely never recommend Sunridge Mazda to any other buyer. More
Dodgy practices. Tries to raise price of USED vehicle AFTER the fact. Then tries to bs you on sexist grounds with all sorts of lies. WOMEN BEWARE -know your stuff as Tries to raise price of USED vehicle AFTER the fact. Then tries to bs you on sexist grounds with all sorts of lies. WOMEN BEWARE -know your stuff as every second thing the guy said (nick) was a lie that I called him out on. He also straight out said women can't do sales. What bs. They call summer tires All Season - they are NOT all weather. They are rated only to PLUS 7 degrees C but try to make you feel they are allweather and good for winter. They tell you tread left but check it badly cause THEIR idea of nearly new tires were worn down. The way he talks is FOS. The vehicle had low kms tho so when I made my FIRST offer they tried to get one of these super dodgy deposits. NO. You bring a bankdraft. Done. Stop with agreeing to their bs. Go elsewhere. Bet the google reviews are fake. BTW MORE TO THIS: When I was on the phone before coming in he said it was in great condition but they're such con men he was careful to say "mechanically great, and said never in an "Accident" but it has a huge gouge out of it over two full panels with rust already set in. No accident? That's cause it's not been in to get work done since 2015 so they're hiding. A few years ago a ton of dealerships were busted doing bad 'inspections'. DODGY AF and wasted a ton of my time. I see why they have such low ratings. More

That was the main reason I went for CX9, as the other vehicle I was looking (Palisade) had 4 month wait time and the Hyundai were offering me a better trade-in value. Long story short, This pre-order purchase turned out to be a nightmare. The initial promised delivery date of 4-6 weeks ended up being 4 months. They ghosted me during this wait period and I had no choice but to wait. Second, I used my old vehicle for trade-in. Then, They messed up the buyout process, and I ended up paying 2 more payments for a vehicle they bought from me (I have spent hours to get a refund for that and still no clarity). Finally, the extra fees they are charging for a pre-order is ridiculous ( they claim it's Mandatory by Mazda Canada). More
Super frustrating car purchase experience with the Sunridge Mazda. It's not a place you want to waste your money dealing with a bunch of dishonest people. 1. Reasonable price on the website to attr Sunridge Mazda. It's not a place you want to waste your money dealing with a bunch of dishonest people. 1. Reasonable price on the website to attract customers to come in and sell way over-price 2. Dishonest sales provided dishonest vehicle information to customers: Describe the synthetic seats as genuine leather and not offer complete information about the vehicle the customers should know 3. Finance staff doesn't want to know the finance interest rate until the last minute because you can only accept whatever rate they give you when you pick up the car. 4. Much higher finance rate than the other dealerships The salesman named Andy Wong called us to come in to check a used 2021 Corolla that we enquired about on their website. The actual price he offered for the used Corrola is totally insane, $5000 more expensive than buying a new one. We tried a Nissan Kicks SR 2020 which we were not familiar with. He introduced the seats as leather which interested my wife a lot. I asked him if it is genuine leather and he confirmed it is genuine leather. This is one of the major reasons my wife loved it and made a decision right away to purchase it. We found out after we went home the seats are synthetic. This authentic information made us very upset and regret the purchase. In addition, they were trying to hide the actual finance rate from you since the beginning. On their website, they offer starting rate of 3.99%. When we made the deposit for the purchase and we asked about the finance rate, Andy and both the finance manager Tony Dinh said it starts at 6.99% and could be higher based on our credit score. My wife was told by Tony that they can't even tell you the mortgage rate on the phone because it is personal and confidential and they will only let you know the rate when you bring in the down payment to pick up your car. It's so ridiculous! Never heard that you can't discuss with the bank over the phone the mortgage rate of your own! I can see the purpose of not letting you know the mortgage rate that you have to accept whatever rate they offer you at the last minute! My wife questioned Tony on the phone for not letting us know the mortgage rate, Tony then said its 6.99%. My wife said this is so much higher than other places, Tony then said he can get it for 5.99%. We are very concerned with the way that they are not being transparent and upfront with the customers. Looks like they do have great room for negotiation for the interest rate only if you ask and insist! These two things are really big, big red flags for this dealership! We have no more trust in them anymore. If sales can lie about the spec of the vehicles such as leather seats and can deliberately keep customers in the blinds for finance information we seriously doubt if there are other things about the used car that we decided to purchase that are not being revealed or being hidden from us. This place in general doesn’t win our trust anymore. So we decided to cancel the order. We have explained the concerns to the store managers and want to get some deposits back by deducting an amount for the time they spent on this purchase. The managers' attitude was very arrogant and did not give any room for discussion: you made a nonrefundable deposit and no matter what happened, how bad you feel about your experience, you are not getting anything back! Now we have decided to lose the $1000 deposit and find a car else whereas we have no faith in this dealership, their car and their price anymore. Instead of having the future trouble of losing more on the unknowns of their used vehicle (Not to our surprise, we found so many complaints about them on the internet ), we chose to lose the $1000 to stop the future loss. This is a lesson we learn that before you go with a dealership, check their review on the internet! Just let you know Sunridge Mazda, Calgary, this is not the way to do business and please stop fooling your customers. More

Don’t trust this dealership. Worst dealership I’ve ever bought a car from. They know how to give you a “good price” on the car then if you don’t get a copy they will change the numbers once you buy the car. If you don’t buy the car they keep your deposit $2,500.00. One manager said that’s how all dealers are doing business now. Meaning if you get “cold feet” you lose your deposit. Of course they will lie again because you don’t have proof the car was the price you negotiated. Say as far away from this place as possible. Get a copy of the price you negotiated, I never ever thought a dealership would change prices like that. And that sales man with all the “top salesman” awards on this desk, knows he got those dishonestly. More
Felt disrespected by the sales manager after we settled to discuss things. Maybe he figured that we weren't really going to buy a car on the spot and after so many times of convincing us to sign an agreeme to discuss things. Maybe he figured that we weren't really going to buy a car on the spot and after so many times of convincing us to sign an agreement (but we didn't) he went off and said to print another copy of the pricing we requested but then he never came back and he let his colleague continue to talk to us instead.
