I had the misfortune of having nothing but minor vehicle issues with my wifes Subaru Forester. I would pick the car up and another minor issue would crop up> Had it in most of the last month and picked up a couple times. Many investigation things were done at no charge ot me (greatly appreciated!!) and today when I picked it up, its running great! Kudos to front end staff, service department. Everyone I dealt with and talked to here was courteous, professional and treated me very well. I would not hesitate coming back here for service. More

Just wanting to pass along an observation for anyone else out there considering a new vehicle. I had narrowed it down to Rav4 Hybrid, loaded Crosstrek or Outback. Will be going with the Rav4, partially because I like hybrids and think they are among the responsible choices these days but also because of the huge difference in dealer attitude. Nanaimo Toyota (Gui) got back to me right away on my initial inquiry and could not have been more attentive and responsive. Gave me all the information I asked for and then some. Subaru was almost the exact opposite. Subaru of Nanaimo responded to my initial inquiry with a request for more information, which I provided immediately by return email. That was six days ago and I sent a reminder on the 3rd day. Crickets, not a peep. After the 3rd day I sent a request to a Richmond Subaru dealer. Got a response offering me a vehicle that was on a boat arriving next week - no price available, wrong color, wrong configuration. Sent a response asking they address my original inquiry. Again - crickets. Have to say if their service is this bad on a sales inquiry, very much afraid their after sales service would be abysmal. I'm sure some folks have had much better luck with these guys but they sure put me off wanting one of their vehicles. Just sayin....... More
