Excellent experience purchasing a car I am a 53 year male old and lets just say no spring chicken when it comes to cars. I do a fair amount of research before I purchase anything. I was in the market for a used premium condition low mileage car and had my mind set on upgrading my secondary car to a Nissan Murano, as I already own one and love it. I had been to a few dealerships before arriving at St James Volkswagen to look at their advertised 2010 Murano. From the moment I walked into the dealership I felt comfortable with the staff. The first person I made contact with was Bryon (sales manager) who apologized for not having any free sales staff at that moment (busy with other customers) which was fine with me. That just gives me more time to thoroughly look over every nook and granny on the Murano while waiting. Within 5-10 minutes Jesse (sales rep) came out to the car and made contact with me. He discussed the vehicle with me in a polite, professional, straight talking no BS tone which I appreciate very much. We took the car for a test drive and was convinced that St James Volkswagen do indeed only keep premium used cars on their lot as Jesse had advised. We loved the Murano, but I like to convince myself that this is the best Murano available by looking at more and more and more something that drives my wife crazy. A couple of says went by while I was turning my city upside down looking at other Murano's when I got a email from Chris (other sales manager) who was reviewing potential sales leads and reached out to me. He was wondering how my experience was at their dealership and asked if there was anything he could do to bring me back for a second visit. To cut the story short, I went back for the second visit after my research was finished, did what I needed to do to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and made a fair offer based on fair market value. We left the dealership within an hour with the Murano. The staff I dealt with Bryon, Chris, Jesse and Brittany made the car purchase stress free, efficient and an all around excellent experience. I don't write reviews but I thought my experience was worth sharing. More
