He answered all my questions and was really easy to deal with. The reason for my purchase? I had brought my 2006 Jetta in for service and Steve provided me with a 2015 Jetta as a courtesy car. I was quite impressed with the new Jetta, so Steve and I sat down to discuss what might be available. He pointed me to a beautiful red Jetta with a standard transmission, versus the automatic that was in the courtesy car. It did not take long before we had a deal worked out at a price I was very happy with. I would recommend St. James, and especially Steve, to anyone looking for a great, stress free car buying experience. Recently I discovered a salesman whom I had some dealingings with in the past had transitioned to this dealership. Upon reentering this establishment I was preparing for the proverbial worst.... Needless to say that I was pleasantly surprised! Helping a friend purchase a car, with the help of Steve turned out to be a very pleasant experience with all parties involved being happy in the end. This positive experience lead me to bring another person around a couple months later and repeat the process. Recently I had to take my own car in for service. The process was very smooth.... An on hold system to keep you on the line until late you can speak with a real person is kinda nice (hate leaving voice mails hoping to get call backs). The service reps were also good about returning calls and were sending text messages with updates about my vehicles situation. As a huge bonus....my sales contact was even able to provide a loner car during a time when I really needed a set of wheels...not just a ride.
