My Experience I recently have had an experience at this dealership that I feel I should share. Years back I purchased a Audi brand new. I absolutely loved this I recently have had an experience at this dealership that I feel I should share. Years back I purchased a Audi brand new. I absolutely loved this car! However, with it being off warranty now and being a luxury vehicle, I started having issues that were too expensive for me to maintain. I decided it was time to let this Audi go and start fresh with a vehicle that I had warranty on and could afford to service properly. I must mention that my Audi was from this dealership originally on the Audi side. And they are wonderful there. Ryan and Carl in the service department are beyond kind and caring and have been with me every step of my journey. This is when I began speaking to Ash at VW. He was so sweet and made me feel completely comfortable and I trusted him right from the start. He offered to pick me up from anywhere if I ever needed a ride there. He gave my Mom and I pizza one day because he knew we hadn't had lunch yet. Very intuitive and looked out for me. I decided the best option for me was to trade in my older Audi for a used vehicle. I fell in love with a Honda Accord Crosstour EX-l. So, I knew which car I wanted, now we had to make the deal. I must say, Ash knew exactly how much space I needed and when I needed it. he never pushed and always made me feel that I was taken care of. This was the point that Ash had my car appraised and spoke with management about what equity I would have from my current car. I must say I was a bit wounded by how low my car was valued at. It was a ego thing I think. I ended up leaving that day and being quite emotional about it. Ash gave me the day to collect my thoughts and come back with a clear mind. In a couple of days I was back in his office and this is when he had his management really look into my particular story. He had multiple meetings behind the scenes and did everything he could to help me. All they wanted was to make me happy at this point. This was when I was offered a deal that made me feel happy and valued. It was not that they weren't giving me a good deal before, it was just that it felt like they understood me a bit better now. They went above and beyond to make sure I was content and felt valued. The deal was agreed upon and the next step was William in the finance Office. Again, I was so pleased by how much I trusted him right away and how he dilegently worked to get me the best prices on my new vehicle. He kept in close contact through email and always was there when I needed questions answered. And believe me I had many questions! He was absolutely awesome! Also, his associate Veronika was so great. She was there when I needed to change an appointment with short notice and I adored her. Smart, gorgeous, sweet and genuine is this woman. I must add that throughout this all Ryan and Carl from Audi service were checking in on me and making sure I was taken care of well. Felt like brothers who have your back. The last person I had contact with at this dealership was a wonderful man named Nick. He is a perfect completion to the whole experience it was nice to wave goodbye to him and know that my vehicle is always in good hands. Nick is the delivery specialist and is very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. He makes you feel comfortable and is a great choice for VW to use as the face you remember when you drive away. I guess I want to say that this team made me feel like I was a part of their family. Even if it was just for a couple weeks. Every one of them were so friendly and always treated me with respect. They worked cohesively as a team and also as individuals. I want to thank everyone who helped me these last weeks. I will always remember this as a great experience from a dealership that values me. Great staff During our visits to the dealership my wife and commented several times to one another how positive and helpful the staff at St. James VW were. In particular Sean and Veronika were during our meetings. Sean in particular went overboard helping us navigate the bureaucracy of the TDI buyback program. He was well versed in the pitfalls and helped us avoid them all. I had a bunch of issues that required service and I made the mistake of going to the other VW dealer in Winnipeg. I then proceeded to St. James VW and undoubtedly received the best service experience in my 30 years of driving. They were able to diagnose and repair all issues in a timely fashion. They took amazing care of my car and I would specifically like to thank the following people: Kyle (service manager)- He treated me like royalty and understood my frustrations with some recurring issues which the other VW dealership in Winnipeg could not figure out. Kyle is a standup guy, a professional, and the best service manager I have ever dealt with. Thank you Kyle. Ron (service adviser)- Ron looked after all of my concerns and kept me in the loop the entire time. Thank you Ron. Sam (master tech)- Sam was able to diagnose all of my issues and repaired them. He truly knows his cars and even spent time at night researching issues on my VW. He is so passionate about what he does. Thank you Sam.
