Southtown Hyundai

On September 2nd 2013, I walked into this dealership to inquire about a new Hyundai Santa Fe. The salesperson (Aaron) was useful and friendly; however, I had a really bad experience with the general manage inquire about a new Hyundai Santa Fe. The salesperson (Aaron) was useful and friendly; however, I had a really bad experience with the general manager at this location. To use his own words, this pseudo-business man got mad at me because he assumed I was "playing" with him, just because I changed my purchasing strategy while negotiating. I do not think this a valid reason to be rude. He could have said no to my offer, and that would have been it, but instead, he was very disrespectful to me and he practically kicked me out of the office!!. For all readers out there, negotiate with this manager at your own risk. One of my friends had told me about a bad experience he had with them (about undisclosed information while performing a routine maintenance to his car), but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone who shows negotiating skills. These guys think that customers should buy cars without comparing quotes from different dealers, and always accept their terms. Apparently, they are the only ones allowed to play around. I am very, very frustrated. More

Over the past month I have been to what seems like every almost every dealership in the City and some in Sherwood Park as well. Through out my experience of all the dealerships I only came across only 2 sal almost every dealership in the City and some in Sherwood Park as well. Through out my experience of all the dealerships I only came across only 2 sales people that were sincere, honest and didn't pressure me at all, and went the extra mile for me. The 1 sales person at another dealership did what they could, but couldn't meet the budget I had for a car (it was a pretty tight budget); but Keith Ross went the extra mile, did a ton of hard work and pulled out all the stops he possibly could to help me get me a car within my budget and succeeded. In my opinion he is the best sales person ANYONE could ever deal with. Through the whole process he kept in touch with me all the time to let me know what was going on, and where things were going. He isn't the type of sales person that makes the sale then just forgets all about you. It doesn't seem to matter what time you may call him, he is there for you for even the smallest question you may have. He makes a point of taking time out of his day to give you a quick call to see how things are going with your vehicle, and leaves his "door open" to you if you ever have any questions or concerns. I honestly can't say enough good things about this man and the way he does business, and how he treats a person. I think Hyundai is VERY lucky to have a sales person like Keith. I know in the future if I ever have any questions or concerns he still will be there to help me out. As for the car I bought, I absolutely LOVE it!! More

The person that I've talked to was very accommodating and really showed her concern to our need.
