Sales manager very throat cut and rude, threatened lawyers. Sales manager threatened me with his lawyers and managers when I changed my mind on a car, felt forced into signing a 1000$ nonrefundable deposit or t Sales manager threatened me with his lawyers and managers when I changed my mind on a car, felt forced into signing a 1000$ nonrefundable deposit or they would not give same price next day. Plus I was 8 months pregnant at time and emotional. Would not recommend this dealership. Issues with extra key and car starter, do not give extra key, say second key goes under hood. Car had to go to another shop to fix car starter issues. Dealership said no warranty on car starter if it causes problems in future with vehicles electrical. Price changed when I sat to deal with extra fees they wanted for admin cost, 3m paint, car starter, very misleading when they give you a price then try to add 2000 grand more, had to deal on that. I should of walked out. More

Worst experience! Ripped me off, had my car for 3 weeks Brought car in b/c alarm going off randomly. After $1400, 4 visits, 3 wks w/out my car, got car back to find out Horn & Stereo/Bluetooth were not work Brought car in b/c alarm going off randomly. After $1400, 4 visits, 3 wks w/out my car, got car back to find out Horn & Stereo/Bluetooth were not working. When I called them back they said I couldn't prove they created this issue & said to bring it in but I would have to pay diagnostic fee of $175 AGAIN plus the hourly shop rates. I ended up bringing my car to my family mechanic to find out the initial issue which VW charged me $1400 to fix would have cost $10 for the part & $100 for the labor if I had brought it to my mechanic. On top of losing out on $1290, my mechanic now has to figure out what VW did to my stereo & horn. I also phoned VW & left a voicemail for the Service Manager to phone me back to discuss things & she ignored my message (2 and a half months ago!). I will NEVER go back to Southgate VW again and I would highly suggest others to find a local mechanic for issues with your car unless it is a warranty issue. More
