My salesperson Dan was great. My experience with Terry in the finance department was horrendous. He berated me for over an hour when I refused to buy the extended warranty. I have never been spoken to that disrespectfully before. He commented that he always advises women to bring someone with them to negotiate a car deal. I now understand the reason why is because he makes the process as painful as possible for a female attempting to buy a vehicle on her own. I left the dealership deeply regretting doing business with Volkswagen. I should have got up and left after 2 hours of Terry attempting to upsell me on products I repeatedly told him I did not want, but I was worried I would encounter the same issue at a different dealership. I have no idea if he treats everyone that way, or if it was because I am a woman in my 20s. Either way he needs to seriously amend the way he speaks to customers. More
