Swapping summer/winter tires Took my car in for an 8:30 am appointment. The tires on rims which had been in storage since last spring, were exchanged for the summer wheels and com Took my car in for an 8:30 am appointment. The tires on rims which had been in storage since last spring, were exchanged for the summer wheels and completed by 9:15. I thought the time required seemed excessive for a task that could have been done in 15 minutes unless additional work was performed that I was not informed about. I had asked last spring to have any stones removed from the treads, but that was not done. I thought they could be removed easily by using a strong jet of air or water. I've done this manually in the past over several hours. The invoice for the current job also requested that stones be removed from my summer tires for next spring's swap. I'll see how that works out next year. I did appreciate having the exterior washed before the car was returned. More

I originally emailed South trail Kia and Daren automatically emailed me back. Because I was hesitant at first about getting a new car and something in my budget. But Daren went above and beyond with information over email for me and payment options. Living in the far NW because Daren was so helpfully I made the drive all the way to the far South to test drive cars. He made my time and experience very worth while. Daren made this experience enjoyable and I also made me comfortable and at ease buying a new car. I dealt with Shimpei the finance manager and he was excellent in going over all my options and warranty choices. Daren and Shimpei made this a great experience. The nervousness I felt before going into buying a car was taken away almost immediately. Daren and Shimpei made this a easy and stress free experience. Definitely recommend South trail Kia. More

Overpriced , would not recommend Took my car in for a diagnosis, the first service person quoted me at 1/2 hour to maximum of an hour. Second person went to two hours. They told me within 10 minutes what was wrong with the car. But kept my car for over 1.5 hours. Parts are marked up insanely high and they try and take advantage of you at every chance, especially if your not familiar with car mechanics. Also with their “ service recommendations “ they don’t actually check your vehicle, they go off their service records. For example they’ll say” spark plugs fail, need replacement “. They may not need to be replaced, they may be fine. Passing this along just for the people who may not be familiar with mechanics. In short 10 minutes of work cost me 2 hours of labour. Never going back. Seems like I have the worst luck at Kia. :( More
