From sales to service they have been there for our family. The team at South Pointe have been great. We are on our fifth vehicle. Over in sales we deal with Zak. The most you can ask is honesty and he gives it with style. For service, I drive from NW Calgary just to get my vehicle serviced. The people know their stuff, they explain what is needed and remember who I am. My vehicle runs great and the coffee while I wait is always fresh. Thanks to everyone who is from the dealership and reads this. More
I went to southpointe toyota to do my alignment on my 2021 taco. (thinking that they know what to do or how to do it) but end up spending 7hours waiting to their shop, spent 196bucks for not properly ali 2021 taco. I was dealing with lady service advisor (i think her name is Kim, not sure) first i was talking to her and asking her about the amount that i am paying for not 100% done. And will be my assurance that if i buy or spend another almost 1000cad for new UCA or new parts will fix the alignment issues. I think our conversation was calm even though we we’re both frustrated with what was happening.(for me who waited there for 7hours without lunch food. And paying money and not satisfied, driving my truck that i know still have issue. And need to spend money for no guaranteed result) (and to her about i keep asking questions)and then another service advisor butt in. saying i need new UCA but can’t guaranty that will fix the alignment issue with new UCA. And i asked him about those trucks in their show rooms. Or those trucks that they sell lifted, how do they aligned those? You guys sell after market suspensions and you guys do installations too. Meaning you guy sell those trucks without proper alignment. And he said if i will install it myself and bring my truck again into their dealership and do the alignment he can’t give me guaranty or warranty for their job. That guy is arrogant and rude. He shouldn’t be there, no costumer service. I think, he thinks that i’m trying to skip my bills, i’m just asking for assurance that if spend money again it will actually fix the issue.not spend money for gamble. I think he do not want the costumer to ask about what are they paying for. That’s why to all the trades, automotive side getting bad reputations because of guy like this. The guy who doesn’t even know what he’s saying. Toyota has been one of the favorite brand. How can we trust dealership when you are dealing like this arrogant guy? Rumors can spread quickly for sure I actually felt bad to the technician and to the lady advisor that I’m dealing with for giving them a rough day. I asked for apology for that coz i deal with costumers too, and worked as an journeyman. That type of attitude has no room in business. I don’t usually do review. If that arrogant guy didn’t butt in and let the frustration exploded i will just let this thing slide in. But I’m concerned to other people that will experience the same. For 7hrs waiting there, some people heard my situations and some people shared that they have the same experienced with that guy. If you guys are in the market for alignment or even buying truck from this dealership, DoNOT GO HERE. If they can’tdo my alignment those lifted trucks that they’re selling are not aligned properly for sure. And they tried to charge me 1/2hour rate for removing my TRD skid plate. and that OEM skid plate. More

Had my windshield washer pump replaced. Was quoted over $600.0 for the repair. I asked how the estimate was arrived at? I was told that "they needed to remove the headlight and bumper." Thi Was quoted over $600.0 for the repair. I asked how the estimate was arrived at? I was told that "they needed to remove the headlight and bumper." This is not true. I asked to talk to the manager and was told, "I could not." I insisted and after discussing it with him I got a quote for $200.00. This was fair but when I went to pick up the tacoma I noted almost $65.00 in shop materials. Again I asked what the charge was? "It is industry standard," was their answer. I asked again and was told the "shop material fees were for protective seat plastic and paper mats." In my experience this dealership has no problems with overcharging customers and will stretch the truth when caught doing so. More
It’s been 5months now and still no feedback from south Toyota pointe. I was told that the car will get to me in 3 months but each time I call the sales person (Craig) refuses to pick my call or even text Toyota pointe. I bought new 2021 Tacoma sport from them. After almost 1,5 year/50,000km I have issues with re-fueling.. They found dirt in and derbies in filter.. I was sure Tacoma is build to go off road. What if I live in country side and have to drive on dirt every day!! I always checked and tight gas cap when driving longer on bumpy dusty roads.. They not recommend driving on dirt roads that much..LOL I can’t believe that!!! xxx!!! I bought Taco to go on dirt and mud… Supervisor said they clean filter but issues can come back.. They probably pushing time so guarantee is over..!!! I’m not giving up easy. I’m going to few professional mechanics and if I have to I’ll contact CTV news and visit those scammers with cameras.. Must be something wrong on gaskets or something.. Other thing is few times when I left my car for oil change there I look under after I didn’t see any fingerprints on dust ?? Which is interesting coz to change oil they should do filter too. Dust was untouched on bolts.. Over all.. There is some nice people behind the desk. They probably just want to survive those tough days now. That’s why they work in this masters of scams place.. I understand every one try to keep the job specially now with all heigh prices !! More

Advisor and service manager quite condescending to deal with and basically don’t have good people skills to help diffuse customer complaints. It’s too bad because the other staff were great before and a couple bad apples can really ruin things for loyal customers. More

Been with Southpointe for about 10 years now No issues here on the service side. They are pretty friendly, accommodating and helpful to me. Have had a Scion, Rav and Tacoma and no issues. They do send me reminders, the shuttle is pretty good and they have Starbucks in the waiting area. I'd recommend them. More
