2021 taco. (thinking that they know what to do or how to do it) but end up spending 7hours waiting to their shop, spent 196bucks for not properly aligned. I was dealing with lady service advisor (i think her name is Kim, not sure) first i was talking to her and asking her about the amount that i am paying for not 100% done. And will be my assurance that if i buy or spend another almost 1000cad for new UCA or new parts will fix the alignment issues. I think our conversation was calm even though we we’re both frustrated with what was happening.(for me who waited there for 7hours without lunch food. And paying money and not satisfied, driving my truck that i know still have issue. And need to spend money for no guaranteed result) (and to her about i keep asking questions)and then another service advisor butt in. saying i need new UCA but can’t guaranty that will fix the alignment issue with new UCA. And i asked him about those trucks in their show rooms. Or those trucks that they sell lifted, how do they aligned those? You guys sell after market suspensions and you guys do installations too. Meaning you guy sell those trucks without proper alignment. And he said if i will install it myself and bring my truck again into their dealership and do the alignment he can’t give me guaranty or warranty for their job. That guy is arrogant and rude. He shouldn’t be there, no costumer service. I think, he thinks that i’m trying to skip my bills, i’m just asking for assurance that if spend money again it will actually fix the issue.not spend money for gamble. I think he do not want the costumer to ask about what are they paying for. That’s why to all the trades, automotive side getting bad reputations because of guy like this. The guy who doesn’t even know what he’s saying. Toyota has been one of the favorite brand. How can we trust dealership when you are dealing like this arrogant guy? Rumors can spread quickly for sure
I actually felt bad to the technician and to the lady advisor that I’m dealing with for giving them a rough day. I asked for apology for that coz i deal with costumers too, and worked as an journeyman. That type of attitude has no room in business. I don’t usually do review. If that arrogant guy didn’t butt in and let the frustration exploded i will just let this thing slide in. But I’m concerned to other people that will experience the same. For 7hrs waiting there, some people heard my situations and some people shared that they have the same experienced with that guy.
If you guys are in the market for alignment or even buying truck from this dealership, DoNOT GO HERE. If they can’tdo my alignment those lifted trucks that they’re selling are not aligned properly for sure.
And they tried to charge me 1/2hour rate for removing my TRD skid plate. and that OEM skid plate.
