I purchased a vehicle from Sherwood Park Volkswagen in December 2025, and began experiencing issues within the first week. It is extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone at this dealership. It December 2025, and began experiencing issues within the first week. It is extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone at this dealership. It often takes days of repeated calls just to reach someone. Once you finally do, they say they will follow up, but they never call back. This has been a consistent pattern throughout our entire experience. After finally booking a service appointment, I was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. The issues continued. Because of the lack of communication, we eventually gave up on calling and went to the dealership in person, twice, despite living far away. The first time, it was just my wife and I, and once again our concerns were brushed off with a promised follow-up call that never came. The second time, I brought my mother to help advocate, but our concerns were still not taken seriously. When asking basic questions about the vehicle and prior service, we were met with a disrespectful, unprofessional tone and lack of care. Both the service manager, Cory, and sales manager, Fady, dismissed our concerns as “normal.” Cory spoke to me condescendingly, laughed at my concerns, and called them “hilarious” and “ridiculous.” Fady told my mother he didn’t need to speak with her since she didn’t purchase the vehicle. We were told the situation would be followed up the next morning with a call to book another service appointment. As expected, no one contacted us. Additionally, it was extremely difficult to obtain a proper copy of the vehicle’s fitness/inspection report, as they would only show us an unreadable online version for the first few months. We also requested the records of services performed on the vehicle which they failed to provide. As a result of this experience, which has only raised further concerns, I will be filing a complaint with Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council. Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability is unacceptable. We would not recommend this dealership. They are not a company that cares for their customers. They have completely lost our trust and confidence. We strongly caution others before purchasing a vehicle here. More
Danielle was amazing. I honestly didn’t think I’d buy but she topped the expectations and experience. No pressure just kept it honest and fluid. Showed me all the key feat I honestly didn’t think I’d buy but she topped the expectations and experience. No pressure just kept it honest and fluid. Showed me all the key features but again no pressure sales. I was so happy to walk away with my new Atlas R. I’m a huge VW Sherwood Park lover now. Thanks Danielle!! More
The sales person Daniella was very friendly. Price at first was strange but finally got to the right pricing. All in all was good experience. Price at first was strange but finally got to the right pricing. All in all was good experience. More
Good place. Lacked on small details after deal was done. Wanted a decal removed. When I received vehicle decal was still on. Other than that good experience. Like most dealerships, these guys only care about the money that you bring and the deal that you sign with them TODAY. Disrespectful to customers and cocky sales managers. They should close their shop if money that you bring and the deal that you sign with them TODAY. Disrespectful to customers and cocky sales managers. They should close their shop if they don’t like customers coming in to actually do business with them and negotiate. Too bad these guys aren’t ever getting our business or the money that these guys think we didn’t have. We attended the dealership to test drive vehicles and potentially move forward with a purchase if the numbers made sense. After test driving a couple of vehicles, we sat down with our salesperson to discuss pricing and financing options. During that conversation, Sales Manager Moe El-Smaili joined the discussion and began pressing us to provide a number we would be comfortable with. We explained that we were prepared to put $10,000 down, and that our available down payment could potentially increase once our insurance payout was received on Wednesday. Instead of handling that conversation professionally, Moe responded in a condescending and dismissive manner, telling us to come back when we had the money and that he was not going to negotiate with us at that time. His tone immediately changed the direction of the conversation and made us feel disrespected and not taken seriously as customers. When we approached Fady, we did so to address what had just occurred and to explain that we had proof of funds. Instead of hearing us out, Fady told us to “get out.” Customers should be able to ask questions, clarify their financial position, and participate in a negotiation without being made to feel belittled or presumed unable to proceed. PHEV without the charger, only one key, no floor mats, a display with a fault that keeps showing up, and the dealership was too busy to fix the recall before listing it. The entertainment system still had 4 cell phones listed in the directory, the console between the front seats was not clean and I have a new to me toque. My last 3 cars have been purchased online and this is the only one I have had a complaint with. Sales staff unaware of dealership program provided to me by finance staff. More
